Been trying for some time to find these on Market or Escrow. Never found a single one for sale at all.
Apparently, as my questions in chat revealed, the BPO holders vanished from the game, and thus none are avaiable.
Is this true, and will be done to make them avaiable again? Or are they withheld from the market by a monopoly holder?
I would be gratefull for an answer wich clears up the mystery of the unavaiable Cap Power Relay II

There aren't any BPOs out. That's why they're not available. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

It'll allow us to maybe use a second of the med slots for something else than a Cap Recharger II in heavy pds environements...

Maybe RMR is a good time to introduce them. Afterall shield tanking is being massively boosted.

ônot out yet, they will, utterly and compleetly swing the balance towards armortankkers....ô ThatÆs easy to fix at the same time add shield relays II so shield tanking gets a large boost as well.

ôyou forgot the word "passive" before "shield tanking" :Dö Actually I was thinking of passive and active shield tank. If the current T2 specs are correct they would be useful for hybrid active setups. As 1 or 2 would give a large HP boost and a 10% Powergrid boost per module, usefull for a hybrid setup with a large shield booster and free cap. I donÆt see them being used for Xlarge boosters due to cap problems unless someone used cap injectors.
Though if T2 came out most people would soon realize how powerful they are and give up on active tanks. 200+ raw HP regen per second with no cap drain is pretty neat, 20k hitpoints, high resistance and lots of free powergrid.
Some of my setups could with T2 relays easily be able to tank 1500dps+ and immune to Nos.

Swapping a CPR I for a CPR II is not a tradeoff, it's an upgrade.

Edited by: Helmut 314 on 07/12/2005 11:56:11 Yeah passive tanking is cool if you have a ship with lots of slots, like a BC or BS. Doesnt work as well on your average frigate and most cruisers though.
Personally I feel that shieldtanking should be changed a bit to be more tunable. Instead of fixed shield hp you should be able to convert unused power and cpu to shield HP. You know, "Divert all available power to the forward deflectors".
As for Cap relay II...its already available as faction loot drops. True sansha and Dark blood Cap power relays are 25%. They go for 95 mill isk or so a piece. ___________________________________

Won't change much, as armor tankers need 5 slots for tank modules. So you have at the very best 3 remaining lows, and things like damage mods and ECCM to fit. Result: you can consider yourself happy if you can fit one cap relay II on your ship.
5% cap recharge, it sure will completely overpower the already less cap-efficient Armor Tank, isn't it?

Speaking as an Amarrian non-BS user, I don't think I've ever used a tanked ship without at least one CPR.

Edited by: Pottsey on 07/12/2005 12:22:03 öYeah passive tanking is cool if you have a ship with lots of slots, like a BC or BS. Doesnt work as well on your average frigate and most cruisers though.ö Currently it only works on a handful of cruisers and frigates but with the new RMR changeÆs its works very well on all ships even cruisers and smaller. With the 25% base ship HP boost and the shield extender change you can use less slots then before and still have the same strength passive tank. 8 new passive shield and amour skills help a lot to. e.g instead of using two mid shield extenders you fit 1 large extender.
1 or 2 large extenders with 1 or 2 T2 relays on a cruiser and you have strong tank and I believe stronger then an active tank and the passive tank has free slots.
The sooner we get T2 cap and T2 shield relays the better. A couple of T2 cap relays counter act the cap problems some passive shield tanks have. _________________________________________________ Nominate famous people in Eve who had an impact on you. |

i have a ferox with 2 large shield extenders 3 active shield harders and 3 pdu's. this gives me a shield output over the 10 K and a rescharch time of under the 500 sec. if i play a lvl 3 mission i can leave the computer and the rat's won't come through me shields.

Meh, there's a number of cap modules that still havent been introduced.
For example, Cap Flux IIs (these are supposed to un-nerfed in RMR - hasnt happened yet though), Large Cap Battery IIs, Xlarge Batteries.
They could drop shield power relay IIs while theyre at it. ------------- Where are the named 800mm Plates and Mega Ions, CCP?

When the CPR II BPO is released they will release more Cap Recharger II BPOs so the price of them go down and caldari can tank better too.
Or the penalty for CPRs will be taken away but thats probably just me wishing heh. -------------------------------------------------- - Jamie (Aka) Spartan III Hardener Stacking Penalty Explained |

Check Cap Recharger II BPO handling.
But not to worry, I hear Castor is coming out soon.

you can have them if shield tankers get t2 boost amps as standard, and the CPU of cap rechargers goes down to 4 and 8 for t2. oh, and make cap rechargers bork armor repping
