its the first time ever that instead of adding them to my buddy list i add them to my block list.
They with a few exceptions of 20 vs. 4 blobfights insist on fighting from the station on local instead of actually in um....ships.
Tbh its rather amusing that we dec one corp and they have to call 5 other corps to dec on us so far so they can feel better about themselves i guess.

Stop your whining ronald , 1 of your corp m8s came to our small homestead , tried to spit on the rug and got a dose of lead for it. Then your corp declares war and daily loses , then you have to resort to out of game tactics to try and get a kill and no I cant elaborate just lets say its the weaklings way of fighting back when there losing. Expect more war decs as you mess with 1 family member you get them all, dont expect us to quit after you leave we got long memory and after all you started it we expect to end it

I went there today, killed a Bestower with a POS and a crow inside and then got chases off by two Ravens but I didn't see you there.

Hey now. Thats a pretty big accusation there. As far as I am aware, ABP are more honorable than half of everyone else I have seen. No stabs, no blobbing, no hit and run sniping gank gangs. They turned my cookies down, but I'll get over it... eventually

never saw much of you guys tbh...we are mostly US timezone so i think it was mostly a time issue more than anything. Sorry bout that. Maybe next time. We retracted since we now have at last count at least 6 active wars with more coming i think. So lotsa red stuff to shoot, which makes me all tingly inside

As far as the "war" with the Atomic Battle Penguins goes though, to be honest it's pretty lame. They turn up, they get shot at, they log. Repeatedly.
Ho hum. One thing is true, there is NO smack talk from them, which is a very nice suprise. Shame there isn't more actual fighting.
And the 20 vs 4 blob thing? If you KNEW we had 20 people at the gate (and I'm assuming you can look at local so you must have known) why did you warp in? That was just plain dumb. Funny, and respect to you all for thinking that 4 vs 20 would even be possible, but dumb.
Still, please come back lil ABP people. And try not to log off every time we hurt you :(

Though I'd agree with most of this from personal observation, but the sniping gankers are definitely there.
One of them, Misaligned, provided us with our first example of ABP local smack last night. After good experiances with Spacemann Spliff, Mezerien and others giving good fights and a distinct lack of smacking (both sides in the initial engagements pretty much stuck to congratulating each other on good fights) it was disappointing to have him log on, swear at us in local and bragg about his sniping six targets earlier on, especially since we'd been hunting for the ABP people we saw in local for most of the evening only to find them in stations or hanging 150km from a station and logging as soon as any of us showed up in overview.
And as for the blobs, the first night of the war, after Spliff killed a couple of us in Taff (including my Stiletto, I wasn't going to warp off until someone else had a grip on you though mate :)) and was despatched in turn, pretty much every combat capable pilot we had on got in a ship, expecting you to make a big show. We spotted you coming down from around Hek, but didnt know exactly how many of you there'd be, as more seemed to show up periodically. When you warped into Egmar there were about 20 of us at the Taff gate, mostly frigates and T1 cruisers. I counted seven of you, with several BS which the killmails confirm as being almost entirely T2 equipped (how I wish I had that kind of cash! :) )
Despite having scouted us thoroughly (Good job Mez, you annoyed the hell out of us :)) you decided to engage. Despite the little details like having Dave T's Blasterthron along, and knowing we had a swarm of MWD Frigs and Stabbers, and that we had two Cruise Scorpions and an EWar Blackbird you warped in at SIXTY KM from our fleet, got swarmed by the support and your own BB was forced to warp out inside of 10 seconds, already jammed.
The killmails speak for themselves, we lost a Stabber. The next engagement at the Egmar gate you brought T2 frigs and Cruisers. Since then it's been sniping, ganking lone ships and guerilla warfare, and don't think we've missed the fact that Taff/Guk/Ualkin are full of 1-week or less n00b corp pilots now, who show up while you're logged.
So, good fights and refreshing behaviour to start, degraded a bit by the last couple of days and Misaligned's little smack session last night. Pity you felt you had to log on JUST to smack us mate, since we didn't even see you on scanner while you were on, just had to read your drivel in local. Be glad that we didn't petition you the way some of your corpmates petitioned one of our allies to get him banned.

I once read an article about a study - for real - that claimed that the more incompetent someone is, the larger the gap between thier precieved skill level and thier acutal skill level.

Yeah we saw. Might have been the timezone, but it was also a quiet time for us, since we were totally caught up in recruitment interviews, paperwork, politics (all those neat things when you have just started a corp), and in-character, Verone and Siren had just gotten engaged so there was a bunch of upcoming roleplay to go through as well. Sorry about that, Misfunk didnt see much of us during that time, either.
p.s. I have Ikvar's permission to hijack. <3
