Ok, i'm kinda annoyed - some tears etc. I got scanning alt (outside of my corp) and i want to use its saved locations by my main - and i can't or completely don't know how to? The only way known to me is to dock up and contract / trade bookmarks as items. Which is stupid and uncomfortable considering fact that its spaceship era and such coordinates should be easily possible to send in space. Additionaly some systems doesnt have a damn station..
Ok tears shed. Now.. is there any solution? ADVENTURERS Corp. | To explore & fight! | https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2906996 |

The only way to share bookmarks is via corp bookmarks, or by transferring bookmarks via jetcan/trade/contact.
Jetcanning was the preferred method before corp bookmarks came in, since you don't need to dock to do it. Member of the EVE Blog Pack - Through Newb Eyes Twitter - TG_3 |

You can set the alt to squad commander and use 'warp squad to 0km' in the bookmark's context menu while your main is on the same grid, then cancel the alt's warp drive
also, can you jettison bookmarks? |

1. Jettisoning bookmarks - this is kind of solution for my problem when a system doesn't have a station and otherwise i would need to jump in to another one. Thanks.
2. Trick with warping squad and cancelling a warp by alt - is valid idea :) Especially that cloaked alt should not warp in this case but any other member of gank will warp - correct me if im wrong.
Anyway, it could be nice by CCP to include such option to send coordinates between fleet members. Not must have but it would easier things.. ADVENTURERS Corp. | To explore & fight! | https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2906996 |

When I ninja salvage with a friend who cranks out bookmarks, he jettisons the BM. But we wish we were able to just drag a bookmark to window so either of us can right click it from chat window and warp --- that was the feature we were hoping for. I always wish you could just broadcast a bookmark location to the fleet.
Would be nice |

This is another issue that has been raised on the forum time and time again... for years!
Yet CCP still hasn't addressed it.

@OP
If you want to share with your corp it's quite easy, your Overloard needs to do "something" so when you BM whatever you have 2 options: save BM (yourself) or Save BM Corporation, then everyone from your corp who will come to that system can access that bookmark location with usual menu and will show "Corporation locations"
it's an instant process so you can move on and continue to BM your perches and safe spots, the gang of fleet behind you will have immediate access and can do their business. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

also, can you jettison bookmarks? If you drag the BM from the 'People and Places" window into your cargo or a hanger it'll become an item. Then you can jettison it. You should be notified if someone quotes your post so you can continue the argument! |

Buddy, i play this game since some time - i knew that corporation locations can be easy way to share links. I just asked if theres an easy way of sharing with fleetmembers, outside of corp, ppl from different corp sometimes.
As previously said - we need an easy way of sharing locations within a fleet - drag and dropping bookmarks in fleet channel or - even better - right click on personal location and make it available to other fleet memebrs, then popup on other ppl screen asking if they want it saved in their own personal locations. Bump. Kind of sad a simple things like this still hasn't been fixed.
We don't you (CCP) wasting your time discussing whether a ship needs 50 extra HP to keep it balanced. Put time towards fixing the pathetic UI please. |

"...I don't understand why you can't just TELL me the coordinates, Jim!"
"Well Syl, if'n things were simple we'd be up an' outta here by now, give me a minute will ya?"
Jim prints the coordinates to hard copy.
Next to a little slot in the wall, three decks below the bridge, a light blinks insistently. Steve-o, recently-promoted Night Cargo Manager sleeps soundly in his office chair. It had been a long day for him, and he was plain worn out. Chasing after kids all day was not his idea of fun, and he and Lorna had argued again about how a ship was no place to raise children; Exploration Cruiser or not...
As Steve-o yawns and stretches lazily, he sees the red light flashing, and sits up. Going over to the panel, he slides open a small door, and removes a fingernail-sized cube. Steve-o's brain lurches to a halt, and he struggles, with a stupid expression on his face, to remember what exactly his responsibility is regarding small cubes and flashing red lights.
As he sifts through fuzzy memories of his orientation...
"Syl, I've got intel there's a hostile gang inbound. We need to get you off this gate, asap!"
"Well no ****, Jim that's what I've been telling you. This battleship isn't exactly quick to alig- ahh crap here they come. Crew, battle stations!"
"Sorry Syl, this damn jettison thing just keeps giving me a timer....it's down to 1 minute and..."
"Oh just cloak up you old bastard, see you once I'm minus a billion"
approximately 2 minutes later...
Somewhere in the void there floats the corpse of a beautiful lady, next to the pillaged wreck of an expensive battleship, next to a cruiser, hidden, cloaking device engaged. Inside that cruiser, a light clicks on. Steve-o, standing by his desk, with The Official Ship's Cargo Manager Staff Handbook open in his hand, has discovered what to do. Very pleased with himself, he carefully takes the small "InfoCube" between thumb and forefinger, and places it in the large Cargo Jettisonment Receptacle in the wall, simultaneously pushing the red "jettison" button while sighing with relief at a job well done and collapsing restfully back into his chair. Space wasn't that dangerous, and with his pay scale, they could afford to live somewhere other than the slums...once they got back. |

That being said, both would be good. To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Corporate Bookmarks won't drag to cargo but use Shift and drag them to personal, creating duplicate bookmarks. The personal can then be dragged to cargo and traded to the Alt. R.I.P. Vile Rat |

Too bad they don't have more than one person writing code. They could have one dedicated to balancing and another to the UI...
oh wait. DirectX 11, it's not rocket appliance! |
