Hi all, I don't get too read the patch review forum often, but it seems a couple of things have gone off the radar lately and I don't know if they were resolved.
1: Buddies list - I'd like to be able to play without a single buddy logging in/out causing all my other listed changing colour like it's a set of fairy lights. Has a patch on the test server fixed this?
2: I've also noticed since the last patch on TQ that none of the chat windows seem to be able to count anymore. Previously, except for the local bug, if I saw my corp window saying Corp (5) there would be 5 people in it. Now I check and it might be 3 or 7 or whatever, it just bares no relation any more. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it related to the local or buddies list problems?
3: The issue of -10 sec pirates being able to kill freely in high security space has been causing alarm on the General board. (Once they hit -10, security doesn't go down any further and so they can pod noobies in 1.0s etc without CONCORD even waking up, plus if soneone else shoots them back, well, they've not committed a crime, so CONCORD come and pod YOUR ass instead.)
The most alarming part of this is the players on the General Discussion board claiming GMs and/or Devs have told them this is NOT an exploit!
Is there any news that this is being worked on?
Thanks for listening, hope someone knows a few answers,

"so CONCORD come and pod YOUR ass instead"
Since you're allowed to kill people with a -5 or lower rating I don't see how this is possible.

My mistake, (I've not been there, but I've seen the pirates loitering in Amarr and the arguements on the boards enough to be very concerned by this issue.) but the point is still that they suffer no retribution from CONCORD as it refuses to acknowledge the crime simply because the bad boys are so bad, they can't get worse!?!.

The fix for the -10 thing should be easy.
CCP already stated that the guns/police activate when someones security/faction drops in value near them. Well, the problem likely is that once you hit -10 you can't change cause your capped. Because this isn't changing, the police/guns aren't activating. Well ... uncap it. Let it drop then add another check at the end to reset it to -10. It logically would be equiv to (i have no idea what code/syntax they use, but they will get the idea)
if(SecRating < -10) then SecRating = -10 else ignore;

there is no need for some strange sec... all you need is some checks like a temp value that says well you attack player you get X sec droped... but if your -10 you dont get droped... BUT you should trigger the sec droping its just that you dont take it away from the player...
also i dont think that -10 ppl should be flying around much in high empire space... i mean that is as worse as it gets...
if the police in real life knew that someone was in the top 10 wanted lists they wouldnt let them walk around in the city...
they just have to put the code to watch the current security value that would be applied... not the actual security lvl its self...
simple as that... just look at a diff var. support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

so i would have put another check and call another fuction for reinforcements... like is this person on wanted list? is he have very neg sec... then send more cops to that area...
pretty much once a bad guy starts shooting ppl thte cops go and find out... and once they find out how bad he is they should send based on that value the back up...
just like real cops... if they see the bad guy is packing some major heat they will call in all the back up that they could find etc...
so CCP should code it this way too...
the bad guys should be able to stay around BUT SO LONG AS THEY DONT ATTACK ANYONE, once they attacked well **** the cops know they are there and they better end up in a pod. support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo
