-in POS you can set missiles bay , the price of the missiles should be calculated for gameplay but globaly speed and defense of let's say a condor+mwd? and damage of a xlarge torpedoe? and price of like 1000isk? -the more launcher you have the bigger salvo you can launch (price/rof/fitting requiered to be decided) -they can only be launched against space structure (any deployable from secure can,warp bubble,POS,outpost,dread in siege mode) -there should be a targetter guy that with a special module fitted aim once and for at the target to be spammed, until target is removed/destroyed/conquered -you can launch theses missiles from pos to a target that would be at maximum x(x) jump (decided by a skill or/and a type of missile launcher or/and a specialised structure in pos) -the travel from launcher to target would be automatically done by the waypoint calculator with only the usual change available ('choose less secure way' etc) -limitation only travel to 0.0? -to make the missile 'interceptable' they would always warp from 100km (jumpgate/target) (less if the launching operator have skills?)

I've wanted something like this for a while. A proper, interstellar cruiser missile with programmable autopilot. To balance this weapon, it should be a one shot per slot thing that can only fit on BS. You could have a raven with 6 fitted for example but each missile costing 50mil or something to limit usage and the ship would have to dock and refit to re-arm. 5 or 6 jump range would be awesome and if the missile is interceptable (only by very fast ships) then even better. Damage should be about the same as a citadel torp. Target is designated by someone in a recon cruiser or covert ops ship and the missile becomes active once target is set. TBH I think that this weapon should be limited to specially equipped ships rather than launchers on a POS since. Would certainly be a good way of removing gatecamps though

yes, let's add walls and catapults too. Let's turn eve to boring AoE sessions for that matter :P
If you wanna shoot something, go there yourself. We got enough hiding in systems as it is already.

I wouldnt mind if a large powerful missile was implemented which had a range of several thousand Kilometers, but you run into a problem... targetting range...
