As in 'the sand which is beneath my feet' or 'the sand which burnt my feet as I trangressed it' The word I beleive your searching in this context is sandwich. Which traditionally is food wedged between two slices of bread purportedly invented by John Montagu or the Earl of Sandwich as he was formally refered to. A Donner Kebab is strips of lamb set within a pitta bread, which whilst not open at both ends in traditional sandwich manner, could be considered as a sandwich on a closed forum discussing sandwiches in a light hearted way set against alliances' which do not really exist within a universe which is also a figment of our imagination. A little latitude would be nice on the defination of sandwich. Yours facetiously with a good helping of pedantry JC

But you'll never forget it. (Let's see who gets that one) The BoB sandwich. = There's a local place nearby that serves a 1lb hamburger. If you eat it all you get it free. It's big, it's legendary and very few can handle it. That's my sandwich menu without too much flameage.
