Not meaning to flame every member of ASCN, but the few encounters I've had with them have been disconcerting to say the least.
When I first joined Eye of God I was met with rudeness and mostly ignored, and I'm not the only new member that has felt that way. I left after several days.
Afew months later I visited the Syncore forum and read the application rules. It clearly stated, Those with over 1 mill SP and have played for over 2 months are entitled to apply, I was above these so went ahead and applied, my 1, 1/2 page application was not given a reply for several weeks until I logged on and found the forum modorator had put under my name "frig noob poster" I get the joke, but where did I insult you? Is that how you treat all outsiders?
And as for noob; We all have to start some time, it's not like I asked "noob" questions or my skills were of little use to your corp. I play very regularly and mine in a barge often, maybie you should have more patience with new players to eve, if there willing to be active and train skills to be of benifit to the corperation, why insult them?
I'd like an apology, but I'm not expecting one.

I cant speak for Syncor but I know that on our website there are ranks of how many posts that you have made on forums. In this case the lowest rank could be "frig noob poster". In that case anyone on those forums that have only made say 1-50 posts will have that title.

I am Syncore's recruiter. The forum software automatically 'promotes' posters based on the number of posts they've made. I assume I started as a noob frig myself when they were born.
I apologize for not responding to your questionaire. The reasons why I was quite busy at the time are immaterial.
Now that your questions have been answered, I hope the moderators will agree this thread has met its purpose and can lock it.

I recently joined Eye Of God, I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with them. All I can say on my part is after 2 weeks, EOG is a great place to be with mature + nice hobbits always ready to help a newcomer

As for the Syncore thing their forum is set up to rank posters based on the number of posts. Everyone starts off noob frig poster and works their way up to battleship.
If you end up joining their corp I think you'll have a positive experience. They have hard working, devoted members and their ceo took the corp after it was decimated by several key losses and rebuild it. They'd be a good corp to join if you don't want to take the easy route and join the most obvious choices of CLS and DDC.

Why prostitute yourself to a corp/alliance? If you prove your worth over time, let people come to you. Untill then, find a corp that does appreciate your skills (ingame character and person).
