As everyone was looking at the skill and the new ships, know i ask the ppl to return to the earth and look to one of the most popular methods of isk earning.
Does anyone know if the missions are getting changes in RMR? (I once heard that the plan was to reduce the number of npcs in missions in order to increase the dificulty and reward of the remaining ones, is that true?) -----------------------------

NPCs will now cripple you with ECM, dampening, tracking disprution, and they will even Nos you among other things. Missions will be HARD, and Caldari will be best since they don't have to worry about tracking or ECM if they use FOF.

tbh i wasn't expecting much to change in missions as zrakor had said it would be kali before we saw any major changes.
nonetheless i am disappointed at the level of change not even meeting my low expectations.
the "fewer but tougher" npc spawns seems to have been limited to asteroid rats only. from what i've seen on test server the only change to mission spawns is the new naming protocol.
there is no reference whatsoever to a review of agents offers, even the minor changes zrakor suggested in a reply to a previous thread, which is badly needed and from appearances there will be a couple of new missions only.
to all intents and purposes its been over a year now since mission runners got any new content, COSMOS excepted, and it looks like we're gonna have to wait another 3 or 4 months until kali before that changes.

yay, once i get used to the new npcs the missions will be as predictable as before 
I think i'll have to find the way to do the missions with the weakest ship i can find... -----------------------------

So was i mistaken? are the rats in missions not ganna use EW? Hopefully its just the belt rats that cripple as level 4s would undoable solo. tbh i'm not sure about the EW aspect for mission rats, i haven't seen any evidence either way and the patch notes are not clear on it.
from reading the dev blog on the npc changes i was also under impression that it would only be certain ship classes of the npc's that would use EW, if the mission spawns haven't been changed to add those ship classes then obviously this wont impact missios either.
some clarification on this would be nice if anyone knows?

In the few minutes I played Guristas Extravaganza on the test server I noticed two things:
A. It takes seriously more time to kill NPC, its like setting skills back a month or two!
B. I lost my lock on 6 NPC all at once, and had to relock in order to continue fighting. So thei either all use ECM burst or I was sendor dampened by one of the NPC.
Figth was still doable tho, I expect only to have to change some tactics. No longer just sit it out, being pounded while killing things real quick as the rush towards me. Gona have to work the range game, which will slow the missions down a bit. I dont expect missions to get undobale because of this change, more is needed for that. But they will definatly teake up more time, varying from fifty to a few hundred %, depending on how overpowering you are no versus guristas NPC.
As a xonsequence +3 implants will get a lot scarcer (agent runners supply them in huge numbers), skillbooks to, but those are problably less wanted after patch, so I expect then to either lock in price or drop a bit. The result of this all is still in the coulds, will more or less people start doing missions to compensate? I dunno!

Certainly not every rat would have special ability, they are, i hope, only enabled on special Npcs that comes with every swarm (certainly if all 30 npc all have EW it would be undoable). As the devs have said only certain npcs have EW ability, just kill them first and the rest of the mission would be the same as before
All this I am speculating, hopefully devs wont increase mission difficulty by 100% while the reward remains the same.
