After word came in of a G attack on 68FT, an ASCN fleet was assembled to counter the attack. What follows is a video documentary of events after the fleet jumped into a G gate camp. Enjoy!

yup fleets really do suck now 
i wish ccp would do something, cuz when u petition it, all they will say is "there is no logs of lag, so ur not gettin ur ship back, so **** OFF" *petition closed* --------------------------------------------

this is stupid and CCP do something to fix it please
if you cant fix it at lest prevent it
u know roughly how many ppl each system can run, just give a error or cant jump message. that way no fleet will be larger than the system can handle (but it will destroy fleet battles totally)
but as u can see from this footage, its not LAG, lag means u lag a bit. this is totally unplayable

If ascn just told the 100 t1 frigs not to show up you guys might actually get a good battle, I think they have enough other ships without the 100 t1 frigs.

Ive always been reimbursed. 
and do not replace anything destroyed because of lag, this incourages more people to get in knowing that if they are laged they will be getting their ship + stuff back
insted no replacements, that way a leader is gona have to think real hard before he jumps his fleet knowing that they might loose everything and destroy nothing (not a real solution, but a slight decrease in the massive fleet battles)

they sohuld move fleet fights to a seperate server of somesort to reduce this crap :/, like when local raches a specail number it changes over to its own server (the soloarsystem is still connected to the eve universe though, jsut that the solarsyste mis on its own server instead of on the server with the 5k other systems). Wouldnt that reduce the lag?

That is the general idea behind nodes. A seperate node was set up in AZN only which has really helped. The problem is that the node around 68FT was still shared. Lag was noticable in the jumps approching 68FT but became just unplayable when we jumped in.
As for a way to switch nodes over when local gets too big, I am not sure if that is possible. --------------------

Lol @ the t1 frigates, he's so right.. I mean look at ASCN kb lol, most lost ships, all t1 frigates mostly..
Good movie tho, that's a seriously problem

We had about 45 BS, 15 cruisers, and 25 T1/T2 frigs. By the time I loaded up, I had 50% stucture.

CCP needs to fix this damn game.

It's sad. We had the forces to pull off a really nice fight. The enemy had about the same numbers but lag kill the fun and some of our ships. New blade servers 4tw! CCP. 
Funnny how some G smacked us yesterday when we were in the same situation and did NOT jump in.

CCP: please add an explict disclaimer in your marketing of Eve "that large scale fleet battles are not currently reliably supported by Eve. Participation of such battles may result in the loss of your ship with no recourse for reimbursement." You waste our goddamn money with this stuff. Fraud maybe? Lemme look into this.

i feel your pain mate. I been in a few of them, and got the 'Our logs show nothing, blah, blah ... no reimbursements for you' 
I think it's a bit unfair when no one gets squat back when you petition.
