Even though it doesn't need www I put it there, and most browsers should automatically remove it. If you have any trouble navigating to this link, just remove the www and go directly to: talocanunited.com/wordpress/ Svo. The need for "www" has nothing to do with the browser. It entirely depends on how the webserver is configured. "www.example.com" and "example.com" are not equivalent addresses as standard. However, many servers define DNS entries for both and then use a re-direct to send a browser to whichever one the site designer wants you to use.
That is correct. That's why I said the "forums needs it to auto-format." As I also said, most browsers will automatically remove it because it is unnecessary. The link works as intended at the moment even though it is pointing to the technically "wrong" address.

Q: What is the expected ISK/hr in my class of wormhole? A: That varies depending on how much your income is dependent upon Melted Nanoribbons, which are a salvage drop that varies in sell price from about 4.5 mil to 6 mil pretty regularly. C1: ~25 mil per hour per pilot (Scoto Timta reports bling fleets can earn ~75mil) C2: ~50 mil per hour per pilot C3: ~75-100 mil per hour pilot C4: ~100 mil per hour per pilot up to 10 on grid (if you have more split into squads) C5: ~150-200 mil per hour per pilot up to 10 on grid for non-escalations C5 Escalations: At minimum 650 million per site plus nanoribbons and power circuits ~10 minute clear time per site (time varies wildly based on method of clearing) C6: ~200 mil per hour per pilot up to 10 on grid for non-escalations C6 Escalations: At minimum 700 million per site plus nanoribbons and power circuits ~10 minute clear time per site (time varies wildly based on method of clearing).
Q: How do Mobile Depots impact WH Space? A: Short Answer: They can be launched/picked up by dreads/carriers in siege/triage, they are small so they should be in any T3 without a fitted probe launcher along with spare fittings to bail them out if they get trapped somewhere (probe launcher).
You might want to adjust those two statements. For one, the ISK/hour in a c1 tops at around 180mil+/hr using a Zealot, using a dedicated noctis. That would yield 90mil/hr, and the noctis does nothing for half the time. Given the range in income depending on your tools, should note that whole span, as c1s can easily be the by far most lucrative out of c1-c4 space due to Blitzing and instapopping of frigs using Scorch. The value for c2s is extremely optimistic.
To the mobile depot: The biggest advantage is being barely gankable. If you run a site in a T3, you can drop MD and MTU and - as you get ganked, refit to nullification and warpcorestabs to just warp off. The only choice for gankers is to instapop the MD. ***** move, but ye. "I honestly thought I was in lowsec"

Hey Lloyd,
Thanks for the additional information about C1s. The C2 information is based on personal experience running in 1-2x drakes, and we were easily hitting 50 mil an hour per pilot (which might even be a little low). Glad to hear that C1s are so strong for solo or duo players; my experience is more in small-gang C2 and up.
I would have added more about mobile depots but I've been running out of space on the posts; been meaning to ask the ISDs to give me another post :P

I have removed a rule breaking post and the one quoting it.
The rules: 5. Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote. Using this, you can guarantee the security of "squads" of pilots or individual pilots. The downside to this is that your pilots will have to enter the password to their tower every time they enter system.
There was a patch a long time ago where you don't have to enter your password every time anymore... i.e. it remembers the last pos p.w. you entered last even on log out or leaving the system.
Good stuff!!

OH very nice! So it keeps whatever active password was there before? Thanks for the tip, I'll update that one.

Thanks for this thread Darkfury, always had this itch to live in a wormhole but really had no idea how to start off. But anyways, I've heard talk between a few former-corp buddies about how they use to close wandering holes for added security, my questions are what does this mean and what are the best methods going about this? |

Hey Jarvis I think there's a question that speaks to this a bit, but it's kind of hard to fit it all up there so I'll add it here for future reference.
Any hole can have a mass between 500 million and 3 billion. From there it can have plus or minus 10% mass (and inbetween that too, so -4% is possible for example).
So lets say you live in a C2 with a High Sec and a C3 Static. Both of those wormhole types are 2 billion mass (you can check this on websites such as wh.pasta.gg).
We usually divide it down so we can measure it in hundreds/thousands.
2 billion hole = 2000 mass plus or minus 10%.
We would use 2 orcas with no propulsion mod (prop mods add mass) to check to see if the hole masses down at 1000 (250+250+250+250). If it does, it's standard or below in mass (<=2000, as shown by 50% mass down at 1000 or below if we overshot it because Orcas are big). Let's say that it does mass down. We throw another Orca through with no propulsion mod both ways (1000+250+250=1500). It should NOT mass at this point, if it does, it means there's mass that is unaccounted for. If it does not mass, we would throw an Orca through prop on (1500+250 = 1750) and that checks for the 90% mass down. If it masses down, it could be as small as 1800, or as large as 1945. If it does mass down, we usually use a Hictor with 3 bubbles and a 100mn afterburner on it. Bubbles on through reduces the mass to a negligible amount (about 2) and prop on back would bring it up to about 75. Rinse and repeat as needed until the hole disappears. If it doesn't mass down, with about 250 left, you'd throw a battleship through with propulsion off, and then back on with the propulsion running to crush.
I know that's a bit of text, but if you can understand it, it gives you an idea of what you can do to crush a fairly standard sized hole (2 billion). This also applies for other wormholes that are NOT your statics; if you crush wanderings, they will not respawn in your hole again.

Sleeper dps is em/therm for lasers and kin/exp for missiles. Missiles got the usual application issues against a 20m sig target, meaning you only have to tank for em/therm. With an AB, you negate most of that dps aswell.
The WR increases your buffersize and doubles-triples your dps. So you take a ship that is resilent to those two damage types with great projection (Talwars, Heretics, Confessors, Svipuls) and roll through anoms while tanking them on basically a single small RR.

Kudos for this!
May I add another mapping tool, just for being a more complete list?
https://siggy.borkedlabs.com
It's an auto-mapping tool, which really (without doing anything) maps your connections. The only thing is that the creator wants a 20 million isk / month fee for using his service.
You and also add all your systems signatures with one copy & paste for your corp / ally members to look at and or edit.
It will have a list of all relic and data sites selectable, an automatic link to eve-survival.org for running sites and a not that much reliant mas counter for any connection.
For example:
You live in J123456 (example system, c2 no effect) and have a c1 connection and you have 'siggy' open in the ingame-browser and jump into J654321 (c1 example system) and siggy follows you through and tells you immediately if the system has a static and what it is - in this case a highsec B243.
I am not affiliated with the maker(s) of siggy but I thought, you might like it.
