These will soon cost as much as the regular dmg mods, so thats probably why. Still good bp though.

the facts:
all other damage mods, heat sinks etc go for about a mill per unit, the market has loads of them, even though those races ships are heavy on lo-slots.
raven has 5 lo slots, soon the market will be flooded with bc2 and they'll be lucky to sell for as much as a heat sink 2.

Why troll this thread anyone biding here knows this your not the only one who can do the simple math in eve
also the last mag stab bpo went for 8bisk im sure they have more then enought time to make 3b isk when these things are selling for 15-20mpu still. So tbh its not a bad invetment.

Well, the prices are fixed.
They were going for 9.5m yesterday and they are all back to 13m without anyone undercutting anyone today.
I'd say they could probably keep that up for a few months at least...
With a 232k build cost, 21.5 being built a day... thats 275m/day, or... 8.5 billion a month. If they keep that up for three months... thats 25.5b. In three months.
/me wants this bpo, lol.

The prices are as they are now because the BCU2 isnt listed in the market. Once that is in you can say bye bye to the 9 mil/unit... and it will happen in few days and not months.

My bad, too tired.
It will lower the prices bellow Heat Sink IIs. Thats not bad for this print, but to say it will produce 25 bill/3 month its insane. The demand cannot absord all your (and others) production at curent prices.

Tbh, I'd agree if I hadn't seen it happen elsewhere.
The cap 2 had a lot of people saying 'it will never last'. Thats was well over a year ago, and the prices are even higher now.
Judging by the cap 2... This has at least 3 months tbh.

If i remind correctly, cap recharger II bpo wasn`t even in list of RD agent offers. I dont know who received it, and why this bpo wasn`t listed. Looking @ ballistic control II - there is allready lots of those bpos (price dropping fast, i`m i right ?) - and they are still listed in offers - so, when few persons will receive last bpos - price will fall to 2 - 3kk per piece. Its still around 1b per week - very nice. ----------------------------------------------- Ash to Ash Dust to Dust |

Cap 2's were listed. I remember having them listed in electronic engineering and gettin excited. It wasn't to be though...
I recently got one of these BPO's though, and tbh, the analysis of the profit is correct. Wether or not it will hold up... It will if I have anything to do with it. --------

To the trollers claiming the price of BCS 2's will tank any day now...
I got the first of these BPO's and still have the eve-mail, the date on the mail is October 5th. So nearly TEN WEEKS after the bpo was first seeded the price is still over 10m per unit.
So I say LOL to the people who are saying the price of this mod will drop to 1m in the short-term future, just as I said LOL to the ones who claimed the same thing would have happened within a month of me getting the BPO...
Yes prices will fall over time but it'll take a while. Missiles are getting a big boost in RMR which will make the BCS2 even more popular.
Congrats on the BPO, and good luck with your auction.

Patch is one day away most likely, think IŠll just wait and see what that brings. When the last big patch was released bpo prices dropped like a rock until just recently. But I guess the alt auctioneer has thought about this also since its just a day long auction just before the patchday. And to those that say you can keep a cartel running with this thing, you havent got a clue. I see players lowering escrow prices by the hour, and this WILL drop heavily when it hits the market.

Edited by: Auctioneer on 12/12/2005 14:20:53 You are obviously blissfully unaware of the reasons behind that.
Prices dropped last time as a lot of people were spending a lot of money on capital ship BPO's. The market for these items isn't affected by that, only the number of people wanting to spend isk on the BPO.
Now - With regards to the price, it has spent two months at the stable price of 13 million per unit, with only a few lapses, which at that rate is around 7.5 billion isk per month profit.
And don't doubt the ability to keep prices high. How would it be in anyones interest to drop the prices?
Anyway, the blueprint is up for grabs should I receive a realistic offer for it. I am not going to sell it for an amount of money I could make in three months from not selling it.
That should give you some idea of the reserve price I have in mind.

Perhaps it makes sense to keep the BPO and prod until BC price drops, but i really doubt you will ever get a much higher bid than 12 bil.

Ingame offers are usually different from forum offers. Ingames are usually buyout attempts, while forums usually sport more traditional auctions.
But to all of you. Yes, the BCS2 mod will drop to the price of all the other damage mods.
When will that happen? Shortly after all the bpos are out. Shortly could be a few days, to a few weeks, whenever. Point is that price scales with supply. They're expensive because there are more being bought than sold.
CCP can take a LONG time to finish dropping all the bpos, so that's why prices are still high. Relax :)

BCU2 prices are still high for ONLY one reason. Market lacks entry for this mod and only limited number of people can be bothered to upgrade escrow 5x a day leaving the market to only the few who have time for it.
As soon as next patch hits, be sure the item will be market sellable and o'le supply/demand (plus damage mod stacking panalties coming with RMR) will regulate the market (that means your dreamed long term profit will not be a reality very very shortly).
Personally I would sell to 25bil bidder immediately
Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.
