"bob have the tendancy if they cant fight one on one they blob up "
Let me guess; BoB "blobs up", as opposed to VC's attacking one roleplayer-controlled dreadnaught with 23 people... which is "gathering suitable force to gain tactical advantage" ;s
either way a nice kill ^^
edit: wasn't it titan that was stolen by the Serpentis leader, not dreadnaught? Confusing...
yeah the serps did steal a Titen, if I remember rightly, didn't [5] and maybe BoB help the Serp fleet at the time, while kicking seven bells out of FA who where trying to help the Gal federation in getting it back?

Let me applaude VC for its increadible achievement here.
The first player alliance to turn sides on an NPC faction in an event arc twice in two weeks.

Anyway, good kill on the dread, altho I highly suspect you are going to regret not being on the serpentis side anyymore once this storyarc takes off a bit. Fun will be had, but not by you I guess. _______________________________________________

Edited by: SengH on 12/12/2005 09:24:16 Could be possible, the mordus event showed that aurora had no problems attacking player assets after the event had ended. I think they ganked some MC guy on the other side or the universe. But it would be interesting if the Aurora started actively assaulting player infrastructure ie. POSes in the area (Guristas already did try to take down one in obe I think so theres already precedent). It makes you wonder how big a leeway their allowed to take. Although I foresee a whole bunch of sploit accusations if Serpentis aided by BOB were to take down a VC POS.

I just find it funny thought that during an obvious event involving the RP of the game VC still went by their standard manual to fit stabs first and everything else after that. I don't care what political faction in game pulled off the kill, if they were bragging about it posting screenies fighting it with ships fitted with stabs, i'd call them out on it too. VC, 5, FE, G whoever. You posted the screenies, I made a comment based on what I saw in them. Yet you flame me based on the tag I wear in front of my name. So who's the flamer again?
GJ on the dread kill, Hopefully in the loot it was carrying a few hundred skill books to help you train "Balls" (that was a flame)
Dude, come on, you are bigger than this I hope.

I thought the one they tried to attack was a takamatsu trading syndicate one. Is that NPC controlled? or player controlled?

npc
But, there *will* be player assets detroyed in event actor storylines.
After all, what difference between ships and a pos ? Both cost isk...
And from looking at what Oveur has been telling us here and there, events are becoming more interesting (as in much more violent and larger of scale) rapidly, soon. _______________________________________________

Yeah, I'm sure that a fleet of 40 or so pilots roaming for more than 8 hours on the heart of Fountain and taking 2 Xelas pos in reinforced mode must be pretty blabla insignifiant. etc.etc.
The ironic thing there was the serpentis threat those pilots faced was a lot worse than any pvp threat, with Bob not moving to defend the territory they claim and Xelas hiding in stations.
Maybe the official map should show Fountain as a contested region...

So you missed me warping into the middle of your combined VC, FA and Serp fleet and jumping to Serpentis Prime in my Thorax? About 9 of your fleet chased me so they must have seen me. Funny that they couldn't catch me, I didn't have any WCS fitted.
As for us not engaging you during the battle we felt it was your event and not our place to butt in and mess things up. We should have known you wouldn't appreciate it. We had at least 2 covert ops pilots watching and giving comentary on TS the whole time.

orders for celes were not to engage it.
the whole thing was meant to be done in a RP way, we arnt used to that sort of play and failed pretty badly.
Im a little disapointed as the lads have been RPing with the serps over the last week, it looked like fun and a new way of playing.
if it was any other corp we would pay for its loss and apologise.. But what can we do in this situation other than say sorry.
as for the guy talking bout stabs in this post, go away.

darth, but look at positive side... for once, you guys can be shooting a corp (ok NPC based but still player driven in RP events) that actually really are honest-to-god pirates, as acknowledged EVE-wide ;o

Originally by: Tonkin eve event it was the serpentis dread, the one that was stolen, we KILLED IT MUHAHAHAH

The Gallente Soleteur Titan the "Molyeneux" was stolen and taken to Serp Prime by [5], the Mercenary Coalition and Requiem Inc (now THAT was a long op!). It was RP'ed as "heavily damaged" and afaik, was only using smartbombs, no XL guns etc etc as they weren't coded in at the time. The BoB corps were going to take it on alongside FIX at one point but it docked before that so they vented their rage on the remaining Serpentis Vindicators . . .*squish*.
Originally by: SengH Could be possible, the mordus event showed that aurora had no problems attacking player assets after the event had ended. I think they ganked some MC guy on the other side or the universe.
The mordu EVENT actors attacked NORAD (not MC as we were working with them during that paticular part of the story arc) ships inside Orvolle and killed afew.

It was a Aurora controlled Guritas Pheonix Dreadnaught that tried to take down a Takamatsu Trading POS (which is an Aurora operated corporation containing EVENT actors) as part of a story arc. I believe that was the first, or one of the first use Aurora had of capital class ships in EVENTs.

Heh...good thing we don't really have much to worry about concerning your opinions or what you suspect when it comes to who is going to have fun and who will not.
What are you on about in the first part of your message? I not aware of having done anything BUT shoot at Serpentis the entire time I've lived in the Fountain region.

Tell me you do understand the phrase "bigger fish to fry." The pursuit of your ship lasted all of a jump into Serp Prime and then jumping back into YZ to play with the Serp squadron. The shooting started about 1 minute after your flight into Serpentis Prime.
I gotta say...pretty pathetic trying to get some sort of play out of your running for your life in a measly thorax. Your BoB sugardaddys must be so proud.
BTW...we saw one of your awesome CovOps "pilots." Don't think we should have...
The only things we're ever going to appreciate from Xelas are:
1. Shutting your holes in threads about things you had no part of unless you have something reasonably complimentary to say. Leave it to BoB to talk trash...they are good at it, always Johnny-on-the-spot with it and they can back it up. You guys aren't good at any of that. 2. Good fights (not bloody likely, but it's the Christmas season and if you can make a wish at Christmas, then when can you?) 3. Getting out of the Fountain region to go sully some other tract of 0.0 space.

So, today they came back, accepted the appologies of FA & CELES, and ordered us to wage a fleet battle for the entertainment of Admiral Siral. Xelas was crushed, Siral very amused, and we're back in their good graces for the (future?) events...

Sorry, its just sort of an inside joke for anyone who has fought FA. I think it is a perfectly valid observation to make, that this pilot felt the need to put stabs on a FEROX to fight AURORA.
I apologize it this is flamey, but I think its quite telling and funny tbh.
