We should all start off by NOT buying hacs for more the cost of a battleship. NAGA has what....200 days waiting period for a hac now? All the greedy builders should be forced to lower their prices, if we refuse to buy then they would be forced to.
Oh and don't give me that "its ccp's fault" rubbish, when NAGA sells them cheap then so could others. Quite frankly we are stupid for buying a glorefied cruiser for 130 mill.

things like these are all majorly over priced
and its now down to CCP, its down to one human factor

just dont buy it. Buy the named items which are damn close to having the same effect as t2, and most are cheaper. If people can actually stick out not buying over priced crap (yes i call hacs and the such crap) then the sellers will lower thier prices when they see and say "OMG teh hacs r sell liek krap oh no's, lower teh price"
oh yea forgot to mention. The people making and selling these over priced items know they can squeeze the market for everything its worth, and then some. They want the make the best frigging profit possible. The faster the get rich, the more they bleeive they can manipulate the market. I know ive tried that when selling named or t2 loot i manage from npc or pvp.

There is nothing the producers can do about the price of the HACs. If I put five Deimos' up on the market for a 'reasonable' price (say, 60-70 mil), one person will buy them all and re-sell them five minutes later for 2x as much.
A week ago I put eight Vagabonds on sale @ 110 mil. One sold in three minutes. Five minutes after that, the remaining seven were bought by the same character and put back on the market for 120 mil each.
People need to understand: IT IS THE BUYER WHO SETS THE MARKET AVERAGE, NOT THE SELLERS!!
So count me in with the greedy builders.

There is you can do to make ppl think about some things. Same as "Lets save our world, woods, air, etc,etc". There is nothing when all they think about is their a.s.s.....and if they will have money they will buy it.

if its a case of buyers reselling it for higher prices, go them if their plan works. Its the buyer in the end who gets screwed royally. They are theones who have to better search the market and find the lowest price. Its hard to do in the game but setting up private purchasing systems is possible. just hard to get started >.< |

if you had any idea how eve's tech 2 market worked,
i would think of giving you a long winded reply and explaining what you say is wrong and you cannont make it happen,
but then again i don't beleave you have any idea on the market and its complexity so ill just leave it at this

C'mon, grow up. The reason stuff is expensive has been discussed a thousand times. People come up with the same fairytales of monopolies and outofassbegotten numbers on bpo's distributed every single time and all it leads to is a lower level of intelligence on this forum.

Prices of HACs et will fall like a stone when the new ships come out and everyone gets new toys to play with I suspect.
CCP could sort this in an instant though by just releasing more T2 BPOs, as people say, supply and demand.
To my mind the T2 BPO lottery is the worst thing in the game, giving a small number of players (such as those with a Cap Recharger II BPO), through no effort on their part, an "I win" button and the ability to produce limitless isk without having to grind like the rest of us.

The cargo expander II BPO will probably make the Cap Recharger II BPO look like pocket change. From what ive heard ppl being offerered for crappy T2 BPOs (RL Cash)... you might easily be able to put a downpayment for a house from what people might offer.

There is a monopoly on Cap II becuse it was the first generation of bpo's there are only 8 of them....

No.
The fact that NAGA sells them for 85 and not 130 kinda prooves you wrong. It's a fact that the greedy soul less people with the bpo's agree with eachother not to "crash" the market.
Because they are dead inside!!!
