Gunz	Posted - 2003.08.14 19:28:00 - [1] At the risk of getting flamed . . . I am in a good size corp. We mine and make ships to make our way. We have been attacked by pirates many times and have even lost a few ships to them. We have also fought back many times and had some success. When we did fight back we did not do it alone. We would go and get a few corps to help us and we'd warp back to a blocaded system with 20-30 ships blow up a few of them and chase them off. These attacks ALL occured in 0.0 space. These trips into 0.0 space were almost always motivated by our need to mine for Mega or to hunt the 50,000isk pirates for rare loot. Go figure . . the rare minerals and loot have some risk attached to getting them. If you dont want to get attacked do one of these things: 1.) Dont go after bistot, just mine in a high security system and buy the mega with the money you make. 2.) Dont go after rare loot, just mine in low security systems and buy loot with the money you make. 3.) Go play a game where no one can attack you. 4.) Stay docked all the time I hate losing ships to pirates too. But I LOVE beating teh crap out of pirates. If you like excitement in the game then you shouldnt be complaining about pirates. If you DONT like excitement in the game then sit in 1.0 space and mine, sell mins, and buy that uber loot that youre too afraid to ever use. Now i know that every little carebear in the known universe is going to tell me what an ass I am, but I'm the same ass that tries to clear out pirates from known shipping lanes whenever I can, so that the carebear indy pilots dont end up going for unplanned pod rides. Lets just stop all the *****ing and whining, log back onto the Eve server, and play the damn game. Your complaints have been duly noted and disregarded. Fight on pirates! You're doing the battleship market good :) . . . .btw anyone want to buy a Scorpion . . .cheap . .. lo miles . . .power windows ?

I care about what people do, whether they call themselves Yarrr! or The Happy Fuzzy Puppy Coalition. I think it would end all - ok, that's naive. I think it would end a lot of this rot if CCP could just post a single, sticky, LOCKED thread saying: This is the security system! These are the rules! This is how it works! This is what's supposed to work, doesn't, working on it, don't mess with it or a GM will toast you! This is what is plainly allowed, even if it won't make you popular it's not CCP illegal (as opposed to CONCORD or Empire-illegal)! Ask 10 different people how security works now and you'll get 12 different answers. So let's just say, OK, it's not CCP's fault, we're all confused and goofy and we need it to be spelled out, okay? Please? You are in a maze of twisty little asteroids, all alike.

I couldnt care less about Low Sec Blockades cos i ask where is blocked and dont go there. Some Arse-Wipe robbing a can while i sit powerless to stop it, for some strange reason REALLY , SERIOUSLY bloody annoys me. Its no big deal and is the source for much entertainment...sort of like your pleas for everyone to stop complaining about those impotent little zit pickers killing players just to fulfill some twisted little latent fantasy that these rats have.
