i feel like i must confess my sean of greatest stupidty since i've started playing causing me in the lose of 1billion isk and making me feel very bad
i wont go on in telling you what or where or when you'll probably see it in a movie soon or something but just wanted 2 get this off my chest and let ya know that i feel quite bad for it and thought hell i'd look for the support of my eve communitie in looking for the dumbest acts ever been in eve causing in the greatest and most astonishing losses ever
feel free 2 spread your humiliating acts here we are here 2 support each other and help in any other way :)
btw the 1bil was paid as ransom for a ship i was flying in order that it will not be destroyed... i've sworn revenge but im 2 poor now 2 do it so it'll have 2 wait... :)

my opinion: if your a pirate and you ransom stick to it.
If you wont, dont bother ransoming.

I am sorry for whatever loss you suffered. I think anyone who has played this game long enough has lost alot at one time or another due to a bad decision they made, it's part of th game, you are human, just get back to work and replace your loss.

Putting "dots and such" into your post shows that you have thought things out a bit. Those pesky dots are, in a way, a metaphor for thinking ahead and preparing yourself. In essence your original post without the "dots and such" may actually be an indicator of a lack of forward planning which brought you to the point where you suffered this great loss and felt the need to make this post.
Think ahead, slow down, and take some time before you committ assets of such value into risky ventures.

hm... losing a full set of + 3 imps (i got podded dohh... ) cause my client crashed and when i logged back on, before i got to see the actual screen my ship was allready in warp... it ended up at the gate (twas in 0.0) and i was subsequently destroyed by the gatecampers. btw, when the client crashed i was at a safespot.
I petitioned it (foolishly and naively cause it was my first petition ever) and ccp's answer was, too bad now **** off! (not litterally but u get the idea)
After that i never bothered petitioning ship/stuff loss anymore.

faction ships i ramsom, pods if i catch them i ransom them. if they give smack talk while ransoming i wait for cash and they die. at the end of the day if i got ur pod scramed ur my ***** lol.

yes mate it was 10 of us held his revelation to ransom.
Scout located the warp in field and we assembled and persued, found him at a gate and prodeced to tackle and beat him for 15 minutes.
Within 30 secs of the fight starting he offered to pay a 1 billion isk ransom, after negotiation and deliberation of our ceo asked us to stop blowing him up.
We left him at the gate on 30% structure unable to repair and suffered no losses.

captain merkin pretty much said what happend. not all his facts are quite there but thats more of the general profile...
i did pay the 1bil isk at the end and thats all that matters. i will get it back 1 way or another :)those who know me know ill im a man of my word with the means 2 keep tham
