The server won't be back up for another ten and a half hours, and I can't decide whether I should go to bed, and risk waking up during really slow patch download, or stick it out and be up for the next half a day. The decision is racking my brain. But this is DOWNTIME, and I've stayed up through all downtimes. Downtime is something we all love to hate. It's a chance for us to get together on the forums and spread the love to CCP more... readily. I also have a lot of argo to move when I log back in. I've got 4 jumps to make 6.8 million isk in and the last thing I'd want is for someone to kill the market and have me lose my investment in omghax0rd. But, I'm sure one way or another I'll make my profit. The new patch is supposed to have some good stuff for the little guy. I sure hope it does. And now, I wait as downtime slowly and painfully ticks away, one second at a time. ____ Hull Upgrades Level 4 Click me

It's closed now, I'll have to go before the server is up, while the patch is downloading. Oh, this is somewhat easy to manage. I'm drinking a red bull to help me through this marathon. It's cold in here, nobody ever turns on the heat at night. I have to snuggle and brace warmly under my $800 down comforter and silk sheets. Even the down comforter doesn't retain that much heat... initially. After a while it starts to feel fine.. warm and cozy, then, finally, Zzzzz. A pepsi can is upside down on my desk, being hugged by my studio headphones. I moved it, don't want any dribblings spilling out. Wait, there's another one next to the monitor. I need to clean this mess up. The Chronicle right now is Quafe. Quafe. Mmm... I love a good energy drink. That stuff isn't too good for profit where I run, guess it'd be better off to just buy it and guzzle it so I can finally make it over to the Citadel to sell my lol yeah right for that profit margin of 12.5 million isk I had planned. But going through the two 0.1 sec is too dangerous right now. Maybe if I was high I'd be stupid enough to try it. There's some Vitoc where I'm docked at right now, I just may be crazy enough to make this run. ____ Hull Upgrades Level 4 Click me

The escrow market slowed to a snail's pace once the patch time was announced and left me with 260 mill in goods showing no signs of movement. Gotta hope that people show up thick and fast, with ISK burning holes in their wallets, once the server's back. In the meantime, Diagnosis Murder's killing me slowly in the background and the cat has stolen my bed. twitch
Siigari Kitawa	Posted - 2005.12.15 10:55:00 - [9] I just posted a new trade service in the Out of Pod Experience section. I must be doing pretty well, only nine more hours to go. What to do? I want something to do. I'd get on the test server, but I'm too lazy to copy my game and install a new patch. Patch. They need to release that patch to us so I can install it now and at least feel like something is happening. Sure, the forums are up but I want EVE. The plans for the alliance I want to form are coming together slowly. I need to get on the ball and promote myself further, or I'm afraid I'll be left in the dust. Gotta have security pilots helping us out. Voice of Redemption is a relatively defenseless corporation in the bigger scheme of things. Severe weather warning just popped up. Apparently there's a stagnant air warning that is going to be in effect until Sunday. Stagnant air. Who cares, it's not like I ever go out... there. Siigari Kitawa	Posted - 2005.12.15 11:29:00 - [11] Wow, 3:25. Below the Asteriods (Remixed version) just came on, and I'm in a contemplative mood. I just saw the Chronicles for Camera drones pop up. Quite interesting. I'm almost more than positive you'll have to have drone interfacing as a pre-req and I don't have drone interfacing. Go figure. The music is building up, and it's raising my anticipation for the patch. Is 24 hours really required to do this? I'm being ultra patient, I can't believe I've survived this long without EVE. I'm sort of wondering what other players are first going to do when they enter the game... ____ Hull Upgrades Level 4
