A real quick synopsis of recent events.
For those asking why we didn't engineer some slop into the deployment estimate, we did. We had a release canditate last night that looked very promising. Unfortunately, there was an issue deep within the code that didn't surface until later.
This issue would have made a number of people very happy and even more people angry enough to quit. It would seem that BPs were disappearing from jobs and appearing in other places, including the hangars of other players. Obviously, this is something that we could not allow to go live, hence the delay.
Again, I apologize for the delay and hope you can be patient with us while we continue to work on deploying RMR.

yes just slip every single t2 BPO over to my hanger ill charge fair and reasonable prices for copies or modules i assure u the market will be destroyed. Lol serioulsy the slip is ok given the nature of the bug and the need to make sure it doesnt go live as it is = its good that it will be fixed gives the BHs time to find other bugs to that might have surficed

Its incredible that stuff like this can get through, since this new production system - more or less the back bone of the Eve world - has been out for test among the players for SO long.. ... .. or ... Please resize your signature so that it is within the forum rule size limits - Jacques |

LOL. Personally I'm happy to wait another 24 hours if I have to if it means our BPos don't do a disapeering act!

Yeah, since the damage is done anyways. But I also hope they ask themselves if they didn't rush into the patch to begin with. Test patches for last minute testing on the production system - on patch day? Thats alarming to me. Please resize your signature so that it is within the forum rule size limits - Jacques |

Personally I'd rather wait and get a stable release than play a buggy release, thanks for the update. ------------

I've already slept a few hours...ok, i'm logging in. Let's see.

edit: I'm stuck in the loading screen after character selection at the moment. Think I delete the macho net folder and things like that now just to be sure to start with a 'clean' client. Can't be wrong at least. ___________ 'Only ships can be assembled, this is a Frigate.' |
