Anyone successfully purchased a Tachyon BP in Domain today?
Supply looks good, but transaction just wont go through :/

I dunno but until they balance large turrets I hope they keep that imbalanced POS turret off the market for a bit. :)

I couldn't yesterday. I found someone who had an extra and bought it off them through the trade window. I haven't tried since, do to the fact I have the BP now. CCP's lack of a QA team rears it's ugly head once again.

yep tachyons are pretty much the most wicked turrets in the game right now. i scored a critical hit for 511.2 damage yesterday.

to get these wrecking shots in the 900s you have to fit extruded heatsinks and train up your gunnery levels very high though... i know i cant hit for 500+ until i fit all lowslots with heatsinks on my apoc. that drives it past a 5x mod on my thacyons and a 6x on my heavy modulated beams.

i obtained the 425mm rail, the Tachyon and lots of crystal/ammo bps today no problem mate, was a lot quicker than usual now i know how close the places are too me, so glad they got the jumps thing sorted in table view.
Off topic question, is that hirr from pa?

On Topic again: Odd thing is my corp mate got the excact same problem in Domain region. *shrugs*

Large blasters make a total joke of tachs in pure dmg - getting in range is the problem. Christ they hit harder then ever now with the bship bonuses working correctly.
Ppl really hyping the tachs up just a little too much. At least they hit a fair amount of time given the half way decent tracking speeds unlike all the suck ass tracking speeds on all the other turrets (except blasters).
It's funny how ppl don't seems to state how much large turrets simply miss the target or get **** poor hits. Even with lvl 5 motion pred, gunnery lvl 5, trajectory 3 and 2 optical trackers they have a good share of misses at optimal.
Many may be suprised that with a load of sinks on the armaggedon and plain regular med heavies the dps is about the same as the tachs but with horrible range and a crap load less cap (range is the only real bonus to large turrets imo except when talking blasters). Of coarse they will have more dps if they wreck, but wrecking hits are far from reliable. At least the tachs give some purpose to the apoc over the t1 arma ship when it comes to dmg layout potential imo.
Choas server - love it. Can save you from expensive mistakes on tranquility.

Come off it man. Do you have any idea how many bugs are identified on Chaos by players? By paying customers? On their spare time? For free?
And you're actually suggesting them not insta-forgetting their experience is exploiting??
