Flagging can thiefs = the new dogging?

Masu'di	Posted - 2005.12.16 16:29:00 - [1] Today while cruising around the belts in Teonusude, a fellow rifter arrived, and proceded to scoop up all the loot cans about. I watched him carefully as he scooted about the belt, i held my distance then followed him for a bit, i knew he was looking for something, so i gave him the sign and dropped a can of my own, kept a few kilometres away not to look overly keen, and then watched as he quickly swooped upon it, and emptied my can. A brief session ensured, i'm not sure if he was quite ready, but i came out on top pretty quick.. So, are we going to be seeing, some good dogging spots appear throughout Eve, places where people know to go for a bit of fun? And how about some official fight clubs?

Im reliably informed you park up near the back and flash your lights three times, at which point other 'doggers' come and investigate. I kinda see what Masu'di is saying tho ... It'd be a cross between fight club in the movie sense of consential comabt in places where it normally wouldn't be alowed, and dogging , in that you show up , drop your can and see who comes to **** you ;)

Dunno if thats hard to put in and if it will create additional server lag though. Anyways the idea of a fightclub may be interesting, allthough i would like to see someone actually set up a few rules (can u pod a canthief?)

In manyways CCP has implented dueling, dropping a can achieves is just like "click " button to free duel. One person drops can, moves away, then the other guy takes the can, and the battle begins. I might try and get an informal one going in Teonusude just now. NB the flagging system does not allow podding.

Yes, but there is no way to really control it. Anyone could pop in at any moment and frick you over. There are only a few ways people could totally screw the little system over in a empire "controled battle" situation. Also, empire is much mroe accessable to a lot of people. Ja, I would like ot see a place liek this tbh, but if they do put it in it will sort of draw ppl away from 0.0 and thats probably why they dont have one in eve Latest Movie: RKK - Meatshield
