So is the $19.95 just for the activation and the first 30 days, or is that the per month payment that I'm going to be paying. Most MMO's have $15 per month fees. Why would EVE be any higher?
I don't really want to be paying more than average for so many bugs.

You pay $20 for the first payment (activation+subscription) and from there on it's $15/month, assuming you pay 1 month at a time. So no, it's not more expensive than the other MMO's out there!

and if you get hooked to it after the first month, i recommend paying for a 3 month. Youll save a bit of cash and i guarantee youll play it.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question along the same topic
If you pay your subscription which I have for a month or 2 now, and want a break of about 1/2 a year, I cancelled the subscription but what do I have to pay to re-activate it?

To add to that, you can pay in intervals of over one month and save money.

When you cancel subscription, your account continues to be active until the next billing cycle. It uses up the credit it has left. Then it goes inactive and your characters are all safe until you reactivate. They promise to keep characters for at least 6 months but in practice have never deleted a single one. Even if they do, there are ways to get them back.
To reactivate your account, you just make a payment as if you picked up where you left off. No additional charges for reactivation, just start paying as usual and your account goes active.
