I have a Iteron Mark II and 3 empty medium power slots and about 1 million quatloos (or whatever the currency is ) in the bank. what should I put in those slots.

Afterburners?
If you're in lower sec space, a small shield booster (will help a little against gate NPCs) and afterburners?

Low sec space: 1 med shield booster + rest ABs (and get the acc control skill up)
High sec space: 3 ABs

If you're making ore pick ups in 0.0 space in a MKII, then a warp stabilizer is invaluable. I use a MKIV for that job and the warp stab. has saved me on a couple of occasions from npc rates.
Also get a MKIII as soon as possible, although they have one less mid slot the additional power lets you fit three afterburners in high sec space.

I hate to veer you in a completely different direction, but I had the Iteron MKII also and ended up with empty slots. Ideally you'd want to fill them with burners, but the grid is too weak on that ship... Before you go any further with Gallente Industrial I would advise you strongly to consider the Bestower. Cheaper, and far more versatile. Mine currently has over 6500 capacity with secure containers and moves at a nice pace of about 650 m/s. The Iteron II just can't compete with that.

The bestower is ATM pretty much the best indy around - the only one better is the iterion m5 - which requires 1 month training. Great balancing ccp, btw. 
If you want to keep on the iterion line I can STRONGLY adive to get the iterion m3 - it is a LOT better than the m3.

ana... one has to have the most cargo 
but bestower isn't always the best
I like my hoarder for npc looting, because I get 908m/s in it, and I have decent shields, and EXCELLENT agility

Mira is correct on the Iteron Mark 2. The powergrid is completly retarded. I tried maxing out on Reactor COntrol Unit I's and still the powergrid is nowhere near handling 3 afterburners.
Get a mark 3 right away or bestower.
