Modules are not stacking penalized, effects are. This is why an Adaptive Nano Plating and an Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane will stacking penalize each other ,despite being different mods.
Since each TD is penalizing a different attribute of the target ship, there will be no stacking penalty.

False. Each TD would be affecting both optimal range and tracking disruption, so both effects would be stacking penalized. |

you need to see the pro and con of each script.
The way I see it running two td's with conflicting scripts means each td mod is canceling the benefits of the other scripted td mod.
Just to be clear optimal range script reduces optimal range by 100 percent while boosting tracking speed by 100%. If one conflicts with the other then they are essentially canceling out each others scripted benefits. |

No, the con of each script is that it doubles the effect of one of the module's attributes by eliminating the effect of the other attribute. So an optimal-range scripted TD has no effect on tracking speed, while a tracking-speed scripted TD has no effect on optimal range. And since it's the effect, not the module, that is subject to stacking penalties, the two scripted modules end up giving you an effect equivalent to running two basic TD's without the stacking penalty. Although I might be wrong. At this point the information I have says scripting towards one tracking disruption attribute has an opposite affect of the other tracking attribute.

I think you're arguing the same thing - or if you're not then I dunno wth you're on about 
The stacking penalty is calculated on stacked attributes/effects, not modules.
Running two TDs with range & track scripts would mean there are no stacked attributes/effects, hence no stacking penalty.
Edit - only on that module Mantis, it has no effect on the other module. |

Ah OK I think I see what Mantis is on about.
Scripts only work on a per module basis matey, they don't affect other modules.
2 x scripted TDs on one target is effectively 2 x unscripted TDs without the stacking penalty. |
