Surely they cant be macro miners if they shoot you, or they open your can to mine? since then theyd actually be there opposed to afk macroing... so dont pretend that your not just trying to cheat mienrs into death. (I havent got a problem with that myself, but trying to legitimise somthing like killing miners for the excuse they are macroing wen they arnt is pretty lame) just admit your killing noobs.

Hmmmm, lets see. I've killed kljlj1, and kla'df2, followed by lkasdj3. Naw what you get is the frieghter who's collecting the ore from the automated alkdfj7.

I was doing a bit of mining in my badger last night.
This osprey pulls up next to me and starts to mine the same roid.
He pops out a can.
Im thinking to myself this guy has got to be nuts if he thinks im touching that can.
5 roids later he still keeps poping out a can and mining the same roid.
Kept an eye to see if he was really can mining or just phishing for fresh badger meat.
Not once did he haul anything from those cans.
Hmmm phishing for noobs must be fun.

no bots automatically mine pop can and another hauls (some appear quite advanced) but are still exposed to boom boom bye mr macro

We've been begging for a way to punish (beat up, destroy, loot, ransack etc etc) the macro-ers for months!! and you gave us a perfectly legal way to A: Find them (they dont respond to warnings) and B: Prosecute em!!

I don't understand. I'd love to blow up some macro miners but there is one thing I can't understand. Say I find 3 apocs with full set of mining lasers with chinese, or numerical and alphabetical mumbo jumbo names how exactly do I fool the hauler into emptying MY can? I gather I have to sneak close to the miners and pop out a can with the exact same name (if it is named at all) as their current one. And then what? Please enlightmen me to the entire process so I can do my part of the macro miner explosion bonanzna! =)

if they're not macro miners then they're multi-client ebay sweatshop farmers. same thing, they still deserve to be killed.
always sets of 3, two miners and a hauler. I've seen apocs, retrievers, and ospreys.
make a new can and move their ore into it. if the hauler is dumb he'll ignore the warning and take from your can. if you set the miners to +10 personal standing, they can put ore into YOUR can, then it's pretty much a guaranteed kill.
unfortunately you can't shoot the miners unless you can bait them by dropping something expensive nearby or get them to attack you.

As soon as they open the can they get a warning the flagging is automatic...if it is your can and your ticker on it then somebody not from your corp or gang opening it will get themselves flagged..
