Hi,
say I install a jump clone in a highsec station that's owned by, for example, Caldari Navy. As far as I know, this requires a certain amount of standing and a regular clone bay. If I now travel to lowsec and enter some random station with a clone bay, is it possible for me to jumpclone back to the highsec station regardless of my standing in the station I'm currently in? And if that's possible, would I be able to eventually jump back to the lowsec station, since my "original" clone is still located there? Or do I need the appropriate standing in either station?

You need st+ñnding and a medical service to create the jump clown. You don't need either if you jump into any clown. |

So I take it that, using my example, the station in lowsec wouldn't even need medical facilities in order for me to be able to jump back and forth between clones. Thanks for your help! |

Yes, you only need to get 8.00 standing with a corporation to INSTALL a jumpclone.
once you do this, you are free to leave your jumpclones where ever you want (provided you can dock in the station in the case of player-owned outposts in nullsec). |

I know this is a typo but for some reason I love the idea of jump clowns. |

How to get a jump clone in any station:
Get to standing 8.0 with a NPC corp, which has a station with a medical bay.
Go to that station.
create your jumpclone.
Fly to a different station.
Jump to your new clone.
Create a new jump clone, if you have the infomorph pyschology for it.
Fly to a different station.
wait for the timer to run out.
Jump to your new clone.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
Jump clones can only be created at a medical bay. But they can be left anywhere (and jumped into again).
Just don't jump to a clone in the same station. |
