Maybe, like many of us, he decided to avoid the forums for a few days while they were overloaded with all the relentless post-patch whinage? It was pretty irritating for a while with all those pages of locked threads etc.

Had a lot of other stuff to do, in particular playing Ferion. We just won the arena, so I guess I'm back to stay.
I also really got a bit ****ed off at the RMR patch for creating so much lag that it was impossible for me to do anything. So I figured I'd go off for a week or two and see how things went.
You can send me get-well cards if you want, just make sure to include lots of ISK.
For those interested, the various things that pulled me away from EVE:
1. Ferion (as stated above)
2. Lag
3. Space Empires IV (whoever mentioned this game on the forums should be shot for addicting me to it)
4. Space Empires: Starfury
5. Master of Orion (OMG why didn't I try this game earlier?)
6. Last Exile. That series kicked major arse.

Yes, you have to pay 5 euros. And yes, its MOO + Civ all rolled into one. However, unlike any other browser-based online game, it is completely designed around minimizing the amount of time wasted on repetitive tasks. For example, I can manage 800 planets with the click of a few buttons. I could filter the planets and have it show only the ones that are building an Orbital Factory, for example. Then I can apply various orders to all of them, or rename them all at once.
And once you get into the game, you'll realize that the 5 euros are nothing. Each game lasts 3-4 weeks and it will eat up all your EVE time too...

Its not a "Halo", its a "Ringworld." Unfortunately for all the Halo fanboys, Larry Niven invented the idea of a Ringworld, not the copycats at Bungie. And yes I've even built a Dyson Sphere
