Did drones get I am going to agress everything that possibly I can upgrade in RMR? NPC that are not locked and not shooting me, the drones decide he is risk to my safety and goes over to poke it a bit soon that whole group has now aggroed the little beserker ii dies and now the peaceful group of npcs have turnd hostile, call back in the stupid little drones, warp out and come back in. Rinse and repeat, pre rmr didn't notice this behavior.

it's actually worse now, drones will go for the furthest target they can find for some reason... ----------------------

Give them orders as soon as they kill their prey and you'll be fine.
Or better, when the rat is in hull select next target and pre-rightClick drones command menu, when the first rat dies click engage.

QFT. I found mine will kill the rat they're engaged on, then saunter on back to me sometimes, and others will just randomly attack anything in range, regardless of it's agression status toward me.

Edited by: ChaosOne on 19/12/2005 11:33:30 if your in a gang, drones behave alot better. if deployed and you then fire they attack that target, when it dies they fly back to your ship until you fire upon another ship. the drones dont go mental attacking all and sundry. not in a gang and they act like mental idiots shooting anything with no logic and usually some heartache

aye, dont let them off the leash, line up your targets that you are shooting, get them to start on the next one in line, so on and so forth, so they are always shooting the next ship you are gonna shoot.

I do not believe it is possible to invite an offline player to gang post RMR?
Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? --

Sometimes it starts a gang for you anyways, and you'll be the only player in that gang.

They usually act like a bunch of drunk "Hill Billies" shooting structures and random NPC's. By the time I get to the end of a dead space level there are random drones all over the shop shooting random pieces of scenery, I am just glad they dont shoot each other or me.

I have this same problem. I find that ordering them to attack a new target works mostimes, but sometimes 1 or 2 drones will actually ignore your orders and go off and attack other groups, leaving you fighting the entire level.
A good indication of this is when a drone disapears from your overview because its agrroed a new group and been destroyed (your next).
You can prevent this from happening by giving a return to ship and orbit comand b4 giving another order and allways give this order when you launch your drones it will stop them from randomly attacking everything insite.
They used to do this b4 RMR.

Oh yes, Damiel in distress was a classic pre-RMR. If you sent your drones out to take our the first wave of 4 that aggroed you, your drones would attack a nearby, almost invisible post, thus giving you a full aggro. Nice. --- Order Now!
