Are there any skills that reduce Power Grid needs besides engineering?

Advanced weapon upgrades reduces turret and launcher grid usage by 2% per level. Shield upgrades reduces grid usage of shield extenders by 5% per level.

Anything for cap batteries, armor plates, armor repairers, or blasters?

Nope. You can train up to use Reactor Control II or buy extremely expensive faction/officer Power Diagnostics and Reactor Controls though. There's also an implant that reduces shield modules grid needs even further.

Energy management lvl 4 gives you access to modules that boost your power core as well.

The items are called auxillary power controls, under engineering equipment. These give you a raw MW boost. The other items are reactor control units and power diagnostic systems, which give you a percentage boost. The only skill that will give you a direct bonus to your powergrid core is engineering.

Advanced Weapon upgrades and Weapons upgrades don't that's DO not reduce the power needs for launchers weapons mounts ect... It reduces the CPU at this point I have a maxed power grid but pleanty of room for growth in CPU. 9 million SP and I still am not going to fly a Cruiser and you can't Make me! |
