After years of quadracopters, this is no big surprise. Excellent evolution of tech, though. |

That's pretty cool, not as cool as the flying blade collective, which can be used as a flying guillotine of absolute doom |

You know VTOL aircraft are the leading cause of death to pilot trainees? A little too much roll and you're dead |

Watching that vid I had one of those odd feelings I get when I see something I saw in my old sci-fi comics becoming real world tech.
Very cool little device. |

A floating black sphere is a little ominous, if you ask me. It sort of reminds me of those black sphere droids the Empire used in Star Wars to give people injections and whatnot.
The US has robotic drone aircraft blowing people up on a daily basis. How long do you think it will be before someone gives an AI to some floating spheres and has them zipping around as an oppressive police force? |

I bet.. Anything not explained to you guys in some policy must seem like magic.
Edit: Very cool ball in that clip, must make the American military go: "But.. we spent 30 Bill on ours and it has to use a landingstrip!" Features & Ideas Discussion: Agent Finder, Black Holes Needs a banner here.. |

Same, I could just imagine a couple of cameras, a police strobe light and a gun turret strapped to it... |
