Surveying the corporation office's monkiboi decided it had been a really, really bad idea to let Jakkul redecorate. Sure he's a director and a great combat pilot but hell, is the guy colourblind or something?
Among the status reports and dog-eared copies of "Matari Babes" and "Custom Frig" on his desk he found his notepad and flipping it open quickly logged onto Galnet. The forums were the usual wash of propaganda and misinformation spewed forth by spies and alliances alike and sifting through it was a level 5 skill in itself.
Looking up he noticed Insomnia99 with his foot on the desk cleaning dirt from his toes with a combat knife. Picking up an old notepad battery he threw it causing '99 to jump and slice off the top of his big toe. Watching '99 hobble off to the infirmary cradling his toe lifted his spirits for a while.
"Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting" he muttered to himself while scanning the forums "Time to go recruiting".
So much had changed in the last few months that the founders of GeoTech probably wouldn't recognise their own creation. Mercenary contracts and hit and run strikes against the Guristas had proved lucrative for those personel now living in the north. These had brought GTEC some recognition among some of the larger combat orientated corporations and joint operations had been carried out. More would no doubt follow.
Agent contacts in empire were also on the up and a number of personel now had high level contracts with a number of corporations. This also enabled access for those personel who only had lower level contracts to fly with them and gain experience.
Mining and production had always been the backbone of GeoTech and people could always rely on the experience and guidance of the CEO and directors if they wished to pursue this direction, and many did.
Unintentionally, Geotech had transformed into a freelancing operation and while outwardly GTEC appeared to lack direction the ability to pull together when a member needed help made them all the stronger. Not being forced to follow corp direction had actually become a benefit and been hailed a success by GTEC personel.
Monkiboi created a new topic and started typing...
"GeoTech, one of the oldest UK based corps and is once again recruiting UK/GMT players of all skill levels and styles in both high and low security space. Log onto GTEC Lobby or contact ESF Hyperion, Jakkul or myself for further details."
Having returned from a courier run through the Rancer/Amamake systems Eta Carina sat down and started playing with '99's knife. A smile played across Monkiboi's face as he reached under his chair for another battery...

So, do you have a site where one could find more information? I've recently been noticing that space is a cold and empty place when you don't have a corporation, and I'm interested in seeing more or yours. ---------------------------------- "Out ride the sons of Terra, Far Drives the thundring jet, Up leaps the race of Earthmen, Out, far, and onward yet-" |

Thank you. I think we are worth joining as we offer a lot to new and experienced players alike
Seeing as we spend most of our time pointing people to our channel (GTEC Lobby if you still haven't been there, hint hint) it's not suprising our recruitment threads appear a little one sided but we like to think it gives a sense of GeoTech before you've even spoken to us.
Put it like this, if this thread doesn't raise a smile then it's probably not worth your while talking to us.

Happy new year to everyone in the recruitment channel from GeoTech.
Welcome to those who have joined and for those with enquiries or awaiting interviews, please be patient. I have one hell of a hangover.
If you're from the UK or Europe and want space to do as you want while also having the support of an experienced organisation behind you then Gtec is the corp you have been looking for.
Given our current location we're always on the lookout for PvPers, experienced or otherwise.

An update to the original post is needed as things have moved on since then.
GeoTech has been granted resident status in Deklein. Previous to this we felt it unwise to offer 0.0 access as a recruitment incentive until things became more permanent. Now they have.
GeoTech prides itself on being an open corp supporting all careers and allowing you to develop your skills as you see fit, something that's appreciated by those who've come from more "structured" corps. This is our strength. We help each other because we want to, not because it's expected or dictated.
We're always on the lookout for UK/Euro timezone PvP'ers (experienced or willing) and industry people to protect and support our gains and objectives. In return you get support, experience and now the rewards of 0.0 life if you're interested. If you would like to get to know us drop by our public channel GTEC lobby.

Just to clarify, the "UK/Euro" part is purely from a timezone (GMT) perspective. We don't care where you're from and currently have Europeans and even an American member as part of GeoTech, whose real life commitments means that we're on when she is.
