Oh, and that's not all, they are called escrow "missions", like it's a mission to buy some stuff from a guy who created the respective "escrow" for everyone to take. Please clarify this for me. At least give me some example scenarios in which this feature is used.

Escrow is the player side market, maybe something similar to a blackmarket, i think. And escrow missions are missions from players, meaning real player, not NPC, i think, i never done them so can`t really say.

Not quite sure I understand you completely but "Courier Missions" are located under the Escrow icon while you are docked. Some of these are NPC missions and some are created by players. These are contracts where you have move a package from one system to another. This involves you putting up colateral for what you are moving. You get paid when said package has been moved.
Escrow itself is a list of things being sold by players that you might not find on the market (Blue Print Copies for example). Items can also be bundled and sold in a group. You can also restrict items for sale to a specific corp or individual.
If this is all still confusing convo me in game and I will try to explain things more clearly.

Edited by: MoonStorm on 19/12/2005 23:12:49 Sorry to dissapoint you, but escrow resides under the "mission" icon. My problem is that I really don't see why it resides as a separate function (and under a missleading title), when in fact it's a selling/buying system of goods with some additional features than the market. Not to say that many functions are redundant (a simple example is putting a common good for sale in the escrow section, with no restrictions = placing it in a market where at most all the people in the region can see).

From what I've read, escrow was first designed as a way for players to make missions and reward players for finishing them. That's why it is under the missions tab.

Escrow, in its current form, is where you buy and sell things that can't be put on the market. Blueprint copies, researched blueprint originals, and faction mods are the most common items there.
