Not a personal attack, but keep at it. Also I'm quite sure the name was chosen because it's a popular song, and not at all because it's so very "funny". Mind you, I'm not against it or anything but it was to be expected.
It's like someone doing base jumping because of the thrill and danger, then something goes wrong and he gets badly injured but somehow expects his insurance to pay for the cost of revalidation. If you're going to be dumb, you gotta be tough.

Fracking is actually a process to get oil from shale, and any references to Fracking should be allowed, unless CCP is worried about the environmental effects of fracking... |

The F word U was C not K in their name. It was an abbreviation that at best is interpreted differently by different people. Whatever the meaning was for the person who made it is moot. It wouldn't have been stricken by MPAA censors. Often times such creative avoidance is perfectly acceptable even when the meaning is quite clear. Look at Battlestar Gallactica. The series frequently used FRACK as a substitute for F another U unmentionable C word K that would have most assuredly been censored even while explicitly using the work FRACK in reference to people having sex. Farscape did the same thing by using the word FRELL. So, what standards exactly is CCP using? This needs to be a clearly defined hard limit not some GM interpretable standard. Corporations spend a lot of time cultivating members. Having their name changed because someone interprets their name in a way that is offensive to B them U is L utter L poppycck S and H should I be T prevented in the future.

Swear words are used by the majority of people on a daily basis.......... why should a small minority of snobish middle class (yes its mostly middle class people that seem to have thier nose put out of joint when hearing swear words being used)
most people use swear word on a regular basis........... deal with it.
hell most irish & uk tv programs don't even beep out the swear words anymore.
but americans go mental with beeps on their tv shows.

This one time, CCP totally infringed on my rights to express myself as a descendant of proud Dutch seafaring and exploration heritage by changing the name of my alliance from DOUBLE DUTCH RUDDERS to Alliance 12345. After much discussion through the petition system, I was allowed to rename the alliance DOUBLE DIETSCH RUDDERS, dietsch being an ancient form of the modern word "Dutch." I have since, sadly, closed the alliance. But if you look up the corp JOHNSON HOLDING, you may see the end result if you check the alliance history.

The whole point of my post was that all of those other forms were basically "LOL, im swearing and this word means nothing else", whereas fracking actually has a proper meaning that has nothing to do with the censored words in question... |

I have difficulties understanding why, when someone does something against the rules, when they get caught, they try to 1. argue with the decision, 2. rationalize something for which they expressly consented to and 3. when it fails (of course it will fail, duh!) feel the need to point all the other one, just like them, who just had the luck to not get caught yet.
I'm not attacking the persons who do that here, I'm just curious about the rationale. If someone feels like explaining to me... in intelligent terms I'd like to read it.
I'm mid-way into an advances social psychology research and it happens to be of lateral interest to me.
