Devs, please respond:
Here's the idea:
Fittings: Put a nosferatu in your high slots. Put a bunch of armor repairers in your lows. Put a bunch of armor repair drones in your drone bay.
Usage: While you are repairing via modules and repair drones, nosferatu your orbiting drones. They each have 2 billion energy each. See where I'm going with this? You will effectively be the ultimate tank-- you will be constantly repairing, while also having a near unlimited supply of enegy orbiting at 300 meters. When one drops below power, just pull it into your drone bay and eject it again, or simply target the next one.
So the question: Might this be an exploit? Or just a clever idea?

cant nos your owm drones, armor repair drones dont work on you, but if you has NOS drones, would be sweet i think

Are you sure about that? I thought I read in at least one other thread that, while the drone is idle, it attempts to repair you. I don't have the necessary skills to utilize one, so I wouldn't know.
Still, even if you didn't utilize it to repair your own ship, you could still siphon off it's 2 billion energy.

Ah, so there's the rub then. You can't nos your own drones. But you *can* have nos drones... Well, dev's, what do you think? Still with us on the idea?

Um, what would be the point in armor repairer drones that dont repair you? not everyone flys around in gangs you know.

The idea being, you want to nosferatu your armor repair drone and take advantage of the two billion energy capacity as its energy source.
So you can't nosferatu your own drones, but if you have a nosferatu drone to do it for you, you might just be in luck. Here's the idea:
Fittings: One armor repair drone and one Nosferatu (energy drain) drone.
Useage: Have both drones orbit your ship. Have the nosferatu drain energy from the armor repair drone to you.
Result: You effectively have a boost of energy for you to shoot things, run armor repairers, etc. You'd be a complicated little solar system but, heck, you have the power of a sun-- what do you care?

it's true armor repair drones do not repair you... just look at the skill requirements... and you'll see remote armor repair systems III in there ( cant remember if it's mentioned in the skillbook or the actual drones )
im not sure about nosing your own drones though, i dont know if you can nos drones at all freindly or enemey

Well, then. Can you nos someone *else's* drones? Have a buddy put an armor repairer on you, then nosferatu IT. It's not like it's going to shoot you or anything. But it *does* have a tasty two billion energy.

you can use nos on your own drones now, you can also use remote armor and shield repair modules on your drones now an thus healing them.
try running 2 XL shielboosters on a scorp this way
ultimate tank ? not in pvp :)

ever been in a fleet op in hostile 0.0? can't dock to repair/refit, so you had to get someone to waste slots on remote armor reps to fix up any shield tankers who took armor damage. now you can take some repair drones instead of a ship with remote reps.

Specifically on the skills, those drones would be using remote armor repairers on you.
I have nowhere near the skills for them, so I have no idea if you can self-repair or not.
