Hi,
Which one of those is better? Mining Drone 2 takes Mining Drone Operation 5, but Harvester Drone text states it is the most efficient mining drone one can get...
So which one should I take for better mining?

Check out the size of the drones, skill required to operate and how much they mine per cycle.
If I remember correctly it used to be the case that harvies used up less space and mined more.
But that was before the patch...

Check the prices for the two drones. That'll tell you all you need to know about which to use.

I prefer using T2 Drones,
yes they need more skills, but to lose a harvester really hurts,
T2 Drones are payable
but that's just my oppinion

what do you mean losing a drone? how do you lose one? to pirate fire? he can just break?

If NPCs spawn while you're mining, they will ALWAYS target Harvester drones before anything else. They die quite quickly, even to little NPCs.
Last time I had Harvies, you couldn't repair them either. I sold all mine ages back, so can't check if that's still true.
Mining Drone IIs are player produced and are reasonably priced. Harvester Drones are irreplacable (ie, the ones in game are it. There'll never be any more). So that's why they cost a lot.
/emote remembers back when Harvies cost 20k each and people would only buy them if you offered to deliver!
