there isnt a problem with the connection but the server is having performance problems atm due to a Free enxpansion just being released but i can tell you that server feels so much more smoother than its ever been its mostly bugs there working out now. i would personally give it another week m8 then server should be pretty much a ok.

No... there definitely is connectivity problems.
I get disconnected regularly. It's become as commonplace as breathing.

I had this "lost connection" problem about 5 times yesterday but I haven't had it today (yet). Maybe they fixed something or maybe I've just been lucky today.
No, today that problem has been replaced by a new one - the stuck at the "entering game" screen problem.
(Check the relevant thread to see I'm not the only one.)

I end up dealing with this problem during the busy times(evening at EST timezone) for a bloody week every time they put out a patch.. And this most recent patch is no different...

wierd as i dont have NO problems i havnt lost connection to the server with server still active for wow .. months .... minus the first day of RMR release lol that was bad :P

i have that trouble at least 30 times every hours..
and i have no ISP trouble..
ISP is working great as usual..
all internet program works great.. but since RMR i can't play eve..
....
so .. yes.. there is a trouble.. and not.. it's not solved..

I had this problem recently where I would disconnect quite often during busy times. And take me 30 or 40 times just to successfully login.
What fixed it for me was this, Open port 25999 to 26001 for both UDP and TCP on your router or firewall. That should fix any disconnects not related to pure lag in heavily populated systems.

ive been having the same problem, but it only seems to happen right in the middle of a battle, or when something important is happening :S

Just lost connection 2 times within this hour. Has not been to much of a problem for me untill now. I think they are trying hard and fast to iron this problem out. Give it a week. Atleast I am.

Do you mean open those ports to port forwarding on those protocols?

Vendrin, your solution worked great! I went from getting disconnected every ~15 minutes to no disconnects whatsoever in the last two hours! Thanks!

Just opened TCP and UDP on ports 25999-26000 on both my router and on local windows firewall on both my game computers.
It seems to work. 
Fingers crossed.
Going to try some courier missions now.

I was getting a lost connection every 15min or so and did the open port thing on just my windows firewall and seems to be working so far. About an hour so far in the game with no lost connection.

hello im getting this ALOT and its starting to get really annoying im totally ****ed iv opened the ports that people say have helped them but it doesnt help me anyone got any other idea's i could try :(

Actually it has been disconnecting again lately. I guess I should've knocked on wood harder. So yes, still having this issue myself. I sent a bug report, but no reply yet.
Hard to play the game when I can't stay logged in for more then 10-20 min.
