Brb, gonna visit your house, take your stuff, sell them at expensive prices, buy identical stuff, put it back, take extra profits for myself then explain to cops I didn't steal your stuff, I was gonna put it back.

I think CCP should bail him out. It's the sensible thing to do.

As someone with more isk than I know what to do with, Would bankrolling a high-sec mission-running corp be profitable in the long run?

Provide offices / SRP / Starter mission ships/ the occasional pos(are these even needed in highsec?) in return for tax?

Mission runners can't die that often and this guy obviously had a surplus.

Your original post had charm. This is just ordinary. You could have at least made up a better ending!

The whole thing just kind of got rushed, I spent the weekend farming ISK fairly hardcore, and all the time I noticed I was paying ISK into the system. Via our 15% corp tax-rate. Then it occured to me, I have been paying 15% tax since I've been in this corporation for almost 8 months now. And while I do get a "share" of the income for being a director, I still end up losing ISK in the long run.

The ISK collected in taxes was partially MY ISK, and if you consider all the time and effort I put into policing the SRP and going the extra mile to ensure even faction modules are replaced at a reasonable cost I technically had ownership of the SRP fund.

So after making about 800m ISK this weekend and paying 120m of it right back to the corp, I decided I had had enough. It was time for me to stop apologizing for simply taking what was rightfully mine.

From this point of view I hadn't done anythign wrong, but certainly when the CEO logs in next I'll be branded a thief regardless of rightful ownership.

I emptied the SRP hangar and wallet as a measure of justice, if I am going to be wrongfully branded a theif without any reasonable hope of clearing my name I might as well go forth with both feet forward.

400m per weekend
4 weekends per month
8 months in corp.
15% Tax Rate

1.9B (more or less what I borrowed).
So, the money I lost was really originally MY MONEY. So I shouldn't be branded a thief.

Wrongfully accaused of being a thief, might as well be a thief.
