I'm a returning player and when i restarted EVE I started doing what I did when I quit EVE. I got a POS up started researching jobs copied, invented. I did 'glance' over some changes but I figured they wouldn't impact me as much, am I wrong? The list of changes since I quit is way to long to read everything, would a kind soul bring me up to speed regarding my line of work?
I have a hard time selling both my researched BPC and 'un'researched BPC (for invention). I used to have a steady stream of BPC being sold on contract but it seems the value of those have dropped dramaticly. I could be wrong. I'm mainly researching/inventing and copying sub BS prints and modules.
My question, since 2011, the year I quit, what has impacted the market, changes or more players able to do what I do?
I even used to have a few players buying/ordering from me directly. Perhaps I'm getting old and rusty.

ive never tried selling the copies, but why not just manufacturer all you make? |

Lots of changes have been made with ore distributions and "extra" materials being added to various BPOs namely ships and T2 components so if you had spreadsheets back then I would update them and make sure everything is correct before you drop a few bil on materials.
As for the BPC markets lots more people are getting into manufacturing since CCP added dual character training and people just generally have more isk now thanks to incursions and FW exploits. This allows people to have more indy/research toons for cheap so they don't really need to buy BPCs for low tier items like mods/ships and as far as I know making cap ship BPC packs are about the only way you're going to make a decent amount copying BPOs.
As for researching and selling BPOs again ships and cap ships are about the only things selling but with a large amount on the market atm unless you are willing to invest months of research in the BPOs to get realy high ME/PE people probably won't buy them. |

Thank you for the answers.
I'm not going to research my BPO's beyond perfect. I guess, if people think a warrior I BPO with ME 500 is more profitable then ME 171 I'll have to refocus my efforts into capital BPO's. |

There's always a demand for BPCs for t2 invention. Do some research to find the right BPCs to copy or find people to order directly from you. For this ME and PE don't matter at all. |
