since eve's mains trongpoint is its powerful player run economy, i think banks should be introduced. with loans and savings accounts. interrest an all. wouldn't take much but maby its an ammount of interrest per month or week. maby even player run banks. the owners of the banks could make interrest giving out loans, and contracts subtract the money from the person who took out the loan, so there's no way to swindle the banks out of money. and if they can't pay...kill rights are affect security status or maby a tag that warns others of what they have done. i dunno. i think it would be kinda cool. -------------------------------------------------- Matt Bellamy is god. I dont want NPC runned banks., i'm up for player runned banks, where you can use the income from loan interests to pay for saving accounts ineterests and still make some profit.
There is also the problem of griefing. People can ask for money, transfer it to a main account and never pay the debt back.
Banks can also grief, taking people¦s money and never give any kind of interest.
I saw some suggestion for this griefing issue in other thread. Limit the amount of loan according to character's skillpoints, that way we can stop alts from getting huge amounts of money.
If the player fails to pay the bill, then any money that comes into his wallet is saved to pay the bill, so the player wont be able to do any money until he pays the debt.

well the player is the person who gives out the money, so if a 1 day old accoutn asks for a loan of 100mill your not going to, if a 8 million sp guy asks for it...its a different matter. -------------------------------------------------- Matt Bellamy is god. Player Run Banks would be great. Or simply just a loaning system. Whereby if the person doesn't pay you back, you get a kill right and can extinguish them In front of concord and they won't bat an eyelid. |

well a loan contract system i lend u x amount of ISK - u must repay x amount per day or per week with x amount of interest this will be youre repayments - even if they reach 0 ISK then it either comes out of their alts (to avoid alt termination) or make it u cant terminate alts unless they have a positive ISK rating to avoid exploits there.
If they slip and cant pay it goes into the red and they cant buy anything.
The other alternative is u ask for colletaral ie items as prepayment when they repay they get the items back u can specify which itesm are included before u accept the contract. If they default u get the items Im a happy little camper now - CCP 4tw. |
