why wouldn't it be? all it gives them is the names of your alts so they can make sure you're not a spy for an enemy alliance or whatever

There's nothing wrong with it, people ask for them quite frequently. Its a safety measure.

Yeah its normal for corporations to ask for a screenshot of your login page to make certain you're not a alt, spy, thief etc.

Tis quite safe, like the others said; just to check who your alts are/arn't. My old corp used to do it to prevent spying.

It's a completely false measure of a likely spy. For starters, many players have more than one account. A screenshot of a single account isn't really very helpful now is it?

Ya, make sure you give them your char selection screen, not your login info, login bad char selection mostly harmless, as long as your not a corporate SPY!

Just as long as you don't give them your account details, login and password, i think it should be fine.

Never understood why people wanted that. If I wanted to, I could use photoshop to knock up a login screen showing my account names to be Oveur, Ginger Magician and Omber Zombie in about 30 seconds work... or pretty much anyone else that I felt like passing off as alts (or the lack of them) fos such a security check.
short of actually handing over your username and password (and any corp that asked for that could merrily *expletive deleted* themselves), an image grab on login means nothing. If it's their best idea of security... they're going to get a rude shock someday.
never trust an image as "proof".
