3 and 5 look far to similare also.
I'm not happy with it, in that, in order for it to be readable, I find I have to set it to Large and Wide, cutting my readable text in half.
Writing is supposed to compress the amount of time/space it takes to transmit infomration, not compress the amount of information one can transmit in a given time/space.

I don't really care, I can read it. But I also understand if people can't read it or even get a headache from it (as long as it's true and they're not just saying that to whine ) it has to be changed. So I don't see the problem but if there are real! problems with it it needs changing. And as read from the OP it is changing

Edited by: Tachy on 22/12/2005 10:07:13 The font makes me reduce my time in EVE quite a lot.
It is still a badly designed font, even when the DEVs handle to get the font rendering done correctly.
And the font doesn't loose the problems when it is displayed correctly in other programms where the letters and numbers are displayed crystal clear. There are a few guidelines on howto design an easily readable font. There are only a handful of rules for it. None of them are hard to follow. The only problem are copyright laws.
edit: spelling

The font isn't the greatest Ill admit, but I'm slowly getting used to it. One of the problems is the "jump up" effect, where my chat window will scroll all the way to the top and the scrollbar will be unavailable to scroll back down.
Clicking one of the font size change buttons and going back to the previous size fixes this.

Never had a problem with it. Don't see the problem with it either.

Set to Wide I really like it too. I don't have FSAA enabled, and work in my TFT's native 1280x1024 mode. There is a little bit of tiredness creeping in on extended sessions though, that I have noticed as being new. -- Lose != Loose
Lose (v) - To suffer loss. Loose (adj) - Not fastened, restrained, or contained.
