Why isn't anyone doing anything about all the problems? We're living in a time with super computers and underwater sea stations and million-dollar laboratories. And still, everyday when I play EVE I see all sorts of problems!
What are CCP doing with all that technology? Just sitting on their behinds? Just yesterday there was another system crash. Isn't that what we have server logs for? Why isn't someone taking care of that?
And then there's all those people stuck in Jita. You can't tell me that we can't figure out a way to free them. What about all those GMs I read about? Someone has got to start putting these people to good use.
Somebody should get on the stick and start using all those high-powered electronic microscopes to cure lag, that's what I think. There must be someone making money off of the problem.
So many clones are dying in the world. We have laser surgery, don't we? Isn't somebody using that? They can make body parts out of plastic and put little camera probes in your body. Then why are there so many clones dying?
All this technologyùrobots, big machines, atomic powerùand still they say we are in a server crisis. Why isn't anyone working on a better way to make servers?
They have all those space-age plastics and superconductors just sitting in a lab somewhere, but last week they tell me the engine on my Thorax muffler is rusted through. So now I roar and rattle through space sounding like a tank division.
Who is going to start making something decent? What about everything I read in EVE-O?
It's a downright shame. Is there no morality in science? Last night I tried to do some mining and I ran inside before the cans were even half-full because of the pirates. With all that chemical engineering going on today, with all that military technology, I should at least be able to pop a veldspar roid without getting run out of my belt by some interceptors smaller than my fingernail!
And now I have lag again. With the hundreds of thousands of IT technicians all over this world, you are telling me that not one of them can do anything about this lag? It's killing me. This is the 35th century, isn't it? We put a POS on a moon, and I can't find an hour of relief from the lagging? Can't someone assign a team to this problem and get something done for once?
Then there's the fact that my corp mates never visit me. Here I sit all alone wondering when they'll come. We have spaceships that break the speed of light, but they can't make it from Lustrevik once a month so I can see my own corp mates?
They build a series of jump gates across the universe and a thousand years later I'm still putting up with people leaving shuttles all over my system! Isn't this a democracy? Have we stood still since New Eden?
I hear jabber-jabbering about the discovery of new subatomic particles. What good is a quark to me? Three and a half hours it takes to build some small antimatter ammo. Three and a half hours!
Someone is spending a billion isk a minute to send radio messages into space, and I have to put small anti-matter ammo into my railguns that are only half baked, some not even matter let alone anti-matter! I pray for a future when the inventor is the friend of mankind.
Jump Clones ù that's what they're doing now. And still Deimos are 120m isk each. It's ludicrous. It's as if we live in the Dark Ages.
Isn't there something someone can do about that? I'm sure with all the vaccines and hybrid cells and carbon dating equipment we've got today someone can take a minute to whip up a pill to get more T2 BPOs out there.
These are the good years? Huh! I'm still ferrying my cargo in a Bestower! A Bestower! Where is the fiber optics in that? How's superconductivity helping me when my ship travels on 90m/s? I see all the technology they talk about on the Dev Blog and I ask you, who's doing anything with it? No one, and it's a dirty rotten shame.

When your corpse has been ripped from its pod and frozen to nearly absolute zero I think laser surgery wouldnt make too much difference ;)

As much as I dislike CCP right now due to the lag loss of my deimos and subsequent "our logs were looking the other way and didn't catch that lag" denial your post offends me.
While I do believe ccp was premature in pushing the patch out as early as they did I also beleive they are working very diligently to correct the problems, there are hotfixes going in on a nearly daily basis, and things are getting better.

Yes, it was just a small joke (basically a slightly amended version of an article (that I at least thought was very funny) in The Onion ages ago).
I was reminded of it after reading all the "Why can't CCP do this..", "Why can't i log on.." "Why cant I get this POS to work..." type threads that seem to make up about 50% of the forums since RMR.
Sheesh. 
/me goes back to posting stirring posts in the corps channel about how much I hate alliance X instead.

once it hits 17k-20k users its becoming unplayable.
at this rate days will become weeks and weeks will become months.
if it take them more then few weeks to fix it there is no reason to pay for the headache.
every hour of every day there are problems and its just becoming a hastle.
