Tradeing for the most part. Some win T2 BPOs through the lottery, others mine their lives away. Oh and NPC hunting.

Or just a lucky break. You find some expensive item somewhere and voila, you're rich(somewhat, at least).
Just keep playing, you'll get lucky sometime. :)

I made 460m on cold war patch day reselling missile skillbooks. then I used that money and the production skills I already had to make a lot more money.

I just mine kernite mostly, won't get me billions right away, but so far, its worth nearly 25mill, so hey, its a good start :)

Yeah a corpie of mine got a hauler spawn with 500k zyd in it. I think luck like that is the only way a relatively new player can make that much by themselves. I totally thought he was full of it until I abused my security officer role and saw the Rattlesnake in his hangar that he can't even fly. The irony!

get lucky - find some uber item and sell to some other rich guy.
Play for a long time and skills = faster ISK making ability
Get t2 BPO or find a BPC run of t2 in a player kill
Though players moving t2 BPOS are advised to use a covert ops ship tbh u never have to uncloak.
