I logged in space last night, and when I log back in this morning I warped to a gate in a 1.0 system without a thought or care, and no sugarplums dancing in my overview... Imagine my surprise when two nuub frigates target me. I'm thinking, hey, WTF? Then they both start spamming these white contrail looking missiles and I think: Hey, way cool weapons but oh crap they're gonna hurt they are huge! I'm hitting the afterburner but I know I'll never outrun that barrage when wham!! Huge explosion of white and I look at my shields... no change...
I survived, now it's time for these little buggers to pay! But I hit the gate and my autopilot jumps. I dock safely in the next system and get to asking WTF, then look in my hangar...
Golly gee, Santa, that was a right hilarious trick... but pull CONCORD back from responding to counterattacks. I figure that's what those two nuub ships wanted, for me to counterattack with live weapons.

I just *****ed up laughing at this.
and can get to scoot past battleships in a frigate, and chuck snow at them.
might try an ice belt and throw some at macroers. :)
and anyone want to place bets on the art assets which we're laughing at actually being a subtle way to check if the same ideas with slightly different textures could be used for comets?

I think that may just happen... I know one of the developers made a note *somehere* (can't remember) saying "Beware of weapons having strange effects during the hollidays". At the time, I figured on the 25th, all weapons change into snowball launchers, but now... Who knows?

When i discovered it in my hanger i first head to rub my eyes cause i though the Xmass chocolate overdose had taken effect.

That brings back memoryÆs. It was so much fun to be a JE with 3 Punkin ChunkerÆs and 2 Eye ball poppers. If someone made the mistake of hitting you with a Pumkin you can stagger launch your 5 modules. None stop barrage of Pumpkin mess and Eye balls. Glad I never had to clean up that mess.
