As a customer, who pays for playing i am really dissappointed! The daily down time is always longer as specified!
And now 45 minutes later it is still impossible to log on!
"The EVE Cluster is currently starting up and cannot service your logon attempt at this time. Please try again shortly."
And there are many problems more like this!
I know a new patch and hardware changes are critical! But I am also working in a software develop project and if we would use our customer as beta-testers, they wouldn't pay us and make a lot of trouble! But as eve-player we have no choice and i guess CPP is exploiting this and this dissappoints me

What could they possibly stand to gain by ****ing off their customers deliberatly?
They are still applying hotfixes during the daily downtime. Some are apparently taking a longer time or they are conflicting somewhere and have to be removed again or altered.
Not everything can be acomplished in 1 hour out of every 24.
Certainly they are not "exploiting this" ... good grief! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ...One mans rubbish is another mans treasure... |

So you're one of their team?^^
it would be not a problem if this happens from time to time, but these exceptional cases seems to be here anytime....
And there are enought ways to validate a software before it is delivered to the customer, who is paying for it! The profit is not so high at this way, but the quality is better!

Just replied to someone with this same issue. Just keep hitting connect. Don't restart as soon as it says that hit ok and hit connect again. Usually 2nd or 3rd time it lets me in, not a big deal at all.

No - I am not "one of their team" ... I just happen to read the posts by the devs and apply knowledge/experience/wisdom/common sense to obtain a resulting conclusion. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ...One mans rubbish is another mans treasure... |

This is true but, to be fair, in the case the OP has stated the whole thing did go down again for a little while. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ...One mans rubbish is another mans treasure... |
