hi there
i have a feeling that production eff is broken becouse i have a char with it trained to level5
and i compared minerals needed on a bp with this char and oone without the skill the same mineral was shown on blue print,then i figured maybe after instalation will be different no differrence once again then i figured maybe after production there will be left over minerals and again i was dissapointed to see that both chars used the exact same minerals
so any one have some help for this poor lost soul??

Did you actually produce with both chars?
BPs do not change their numbers based on which char is viewing them. The mineral requirements displayed on the BP are the requirements if you have PE 5. If you don't have PE, they are 25% higher than the BP value.

Currently, the database gurus at CCP are having trouble implementing mineral efficiency research. I've go a BP that's been research to death and have seen mineral requirements for the batches I run remain at original values. No word as to when this will be fixed.

Odd.
Keep in mind that beyond a certain level, the effects of mineral efficiency research will be miniscule. Going from level 1 to 9 will produce a 9% reduction in mineral requirements, going from 10 to 19 will result in only an additional 0.5%.
