Hmm - alright I have nothing to do, im not borred of the game or anything. But I got a few billions and I don't know what to do with them, it's 2.8 Bil. I don't really need anything I got plenty of Battleships etc. Most T2 BPO's are more and the ones I can aford don't really make much profit. Does anyone have any good Ideas of what I should do next?

Well, you would certainly be a "Godfather" type for a whole lot of (hopefully) appreciative noobs. Perhaps you could call in favors. Or, after they've figured out what they're doing, they could recoup what they've gotten from you.
Maybe just being on the forefront of actually _progressing_ the eve universe forward despite all of the nay-sayers and griefers and whiners will mean something beyond profit to ya.
just a thought. but hey, it's christmas. :)

Perhaps you can start a corp with some other rich players and buy a really good bpo together. Then split the profits. You could really make LOAAADS, and have fun with your peers while doing it.
Or get yourself a carrier or a titan.

I'd buy all of the ammunition you possibly could through the market....say for an entire region, specifically a popular one like the starting systems areas. Suck up all the noobie hybrid ammo and missles. Then I'd sit in the help channel and begin to charge double to everyone who needs it.

Well you didn't specify what you'd already done thus far, so here are a couple of ideas:
- Get a freigher and use the cash to do some serious high-volume trading.
- Get a dreadnought and go throw a few wrenches into some wheels in low sec.
- Try to fly from one end of the EVE universe to the other.
- Find a small corp of relatively new people who have just started up and go help them out. Sponsor them, advice, whatever. (If you want I know a corp that could use help  ).
- Get a blockade runner (assuming you can fly a viator or something) and go blockade running past gate camps with high value goods in your hold, just for fun.
And if you're really looking for a challenge, make yourself an alt and start fresh all over like a n00b again...
PS: If you liked the advice, I'm open for donations. Not the 'can I have your stuff/billions' type thing, just a stipend to help out my corp...

You could join me in a venture i thought up a few months ago. A credit union of sorts. With all kinds of rating systems / rules / regulations / interest rates etc.
It is a high risk venture, however being an Entrepreneur, and making a name for oneself, not to mention designing an entire new profession would be quite good.
My idea never left the planning stages as the person who offered to design my database quit the game. Extra capital on investment is always helpfull, and only a small percentage of your isk would be required to start. So, if the business did go sour, losses would be minimal.
If the business takes off, the capital can be increased, members can be hired for debt collection, and your billions can be increased 10 fold.

My suggesstion:
Step 1: Create a new corp. Take the time to train so you can have people of all races in there.
Step 2: Make sure you have good production skills trained up, and purchase a number of BPOs. Specifically, pick up 1 BPO of each good frigate of each race, and one of the general-purpose cruiser of each race, along with BPOs for the mid-sized guns of each size, 1 and 10 MN AB bpos, armor repper and shield boosters, everything that a noobie could ask for for fitting the ships you have BPOs for.
Step 3: Between yourself and a few very trusted friends, produce a decent supply of these things. 3-4 of each frig, 2-3 of each cruiser, and enough guns/modules to fit them.
Step 4: While performing step 3, have your alts, and alts of the other people helping produce your stuff (They're very trusted, right?), get into as many starting corps as possible, and recruit newbies, taking them out and doing mining and lvl 1 missioning with them, getting to know if you want them in your corp, and if you do, have them join, and use the resources you're producing to provide a solid base of resources for them to get started in the game.
Unforturnately, at 5 mil, I'm a long ways away from ever seeing this come to fruition. Ah well, I can dream, right?

1. Hire some hands to maybe open up a safe coridor of 0.0 space. Give noobs like my self safe routes into 0.0 so we can see what it's like there. I'm sure people would pay a toll to travel through gates that where under your control.
2. Find a region of space thats totaly bare and build your self a OP etc (this is my plan for many years down the road). An outpost in deep space.
3. Hold a vote for the worst rats in space (those that take you money and pod you) and put 1 billion bounties on them over a period of time.
4. Hold some kind of huge battle contest. 1 on 1 league or something. Even with prizes of a few 100 million most people in eve will take notice.
The world is your play ground tbh.

Take 2.8bill. Spend it on alot on good (not outragreously expensive mods) and ships. PvP viable. Now go to your closest hotzone or just anywhere in 0.0. Get PvPing randomly. Train yourself up how to do it etc what to do yadi yadi ya...Apply yourself to an alliance and then compete in the caldari capsuleer tournament. Or if your already in an alliance then just go help defend your space/attack others relentlessly till your down to like...1.5bill then u can stop lol.

some good ideas in here - however they all range from senseless spending to spending just to have fun. One person said that 2,8 bil is not extatly that much ISK, and I must agree, I get the feeling that, if im not carefull they will slip though my fingers really quick. So I guess what im looking for is to do somekind of investment with other ppl. Does anyone know what the prices of some ISS stocks are worth ? or - if they are even worth the investment ?

I found myself in a similar position to yourself not too long ago; enough money to exist comfortably, but not enough to buy any decent T2 BPOs.
I decided to join ISS by investing in their first Outpost and again in their second. Unfortunately Borealis has been totally over-subscribed, so you have missed out on that.
The other thing I did was to join ISS Logistics Corp. In itself, it makes no money, or hardly any. But, it gives wonderful opportunities to access 0.0 territory and to tap into those markets as a trader AND I am actively supporting the ONLY Eve organisation that has the vision and the drive to see beyond the feudalistic petty kingdoms that most alliances stick at.
All you need to get involved are some transports, (a freighter would be nice) and the balls to get through pirate infested space to deliver the goods and make some decent trading isk on the side.

You could always create an event. Noob ship race or 3v3 hauler battle would def spark some interest. Split half of your liquid assets into 3 graduated prize pools and have an elimanation (or free for all).

This thread raises an issue that ive been pondering for a while. The idea is to make money, you have constant set backs (loosing ship etc). But once your "there" with 2billion or whatever, what do you do? theres no next step that makes money.. you can keep doing what youve done but thats no fun.
Usualy in a game you do this, then that, then that. I love the eve is open like that, and the fact there "is no answer". But at the same time, there seems to be these gaps on what makes money. 500m, 2 billion, that sort of bracket. Sure you can BUY stuff, but does it make money?
See where im going, not sure if im explaining this well..

Hmm - alright I have nothing to do, im not borred of the game or anything. But I got a few billions and I don't know what to do with them, it's 2.8 Bil. I don't really need anything I got plenty of Battleships etc. Most T2 BPO's are more and the ones I can aford don't really make much profit. Does anyone have any good Ideas of what I should do next?

First, I'd say donate some to needy players, like me. 50-100mil would make my day.
Other note, well, with that money you could do alot, including make more money via a frieghter and heavy trading, or getting a decked out ship and running some higher level complexes, or pwning missions like crazy.
Hell, you could probably make your own hitman squad corp. Collect lots of newbs, and give them like 500k or so each week (at the end of the week of course, and only if they're active), and in return they use their cheap insured frigs to gang*****people you point them at, like macroers.
