Dont click accept, dont get a reply on email, dont get your petitions responded to, dont be allowed to talk on irc and dont talk to CCP directly on the phone. So then when you have a problem its a case of tough luck. "Death Before Dishonor" |

Lets all just play the game pvp, think thats what we r all meant to be doing.
ANYTHING goes in this game, as long as you are not exploiting the rules, do what you want.
People are getting too upset by other players actions towards them, we need to keep it real and not take things too personally.
Choose your path in eve, u can do anything that you want.

Ya know, I've kept pretty quiet on this issue so far because both sides are correct.
If you want my opinion, and I'm sure most don't, the devs have allowed all these loopholes to ruin the game. The game was released without ANY play testing what-so-ever.
The beta tester's job was pretty much to fill the game world with bodies while the devs tweaked the servers. Once the servers could support the amount of players they expected to be in the game, they launched.
There were plenty of known bugs AND exploits that were in the game AT launch. When you try something as ambitious as EVE's economic model you don't want people making billions within the first week because of up-time/down-time buy/sell orders. And that's just one example.
And what they did to Ywev... Lame and weak. Why don't the GMs have indestructable ships? How is it that the GMs can destroy m0o ships as if role-playing some super-cops but m0o can't role-play back and fill thier roles as pirates by killing a GM ship when it shows up at one of their gates.
I'm not sure I'm gonna resubscribe next month; it all depends on what actions CCP takes on the so-called exploiters and what steps they take towards getting the game back into a fun, playable state. Another of my concerns is the old time vs. fun equation. I'm getting a little tired of 'working' for weeks/months just to loose all that work in under 1 minute to a game bug, lag, or uber PC pirates.
I had a lot of hope for this game, but not anymore. CCP has let me down so much that I'm actually acquiring a morbid fascination watching the game sink deeper and deeper into the gutter. That's what happens when you promise someone something and don't deliver.
Oh, but as for the mods . . . ya'll can ease up on them, they're just doing what they're told. They don't make the rules, they just enforce them.

We really don't need two identical topics.
