Just thought about the Drone Control Units and that most players couldnŠt ever use them now, as they are carrier only modules atm.
Its also a fact that an Ishtar,Dominix,Eos and so on, would be "slightly" unbalanced, cos the damage output increases to much.
So for each drone control unit (max 5) you get -10% to drone damage and everything would be inline again. This should reduce the extra damage but enhance the tactical options of the drone ships.

so what you are saying is use 10 drones or 5 drones you still do the same damage?????
ahhh how does that make sense???

Yep .. but you could use some Webber , Jammer , Armor Rep Drones , too ... at the same time. We have fine new drones but mostly I only have 5 combat drones in space ???

ok, assuming 10% loss in dmg per mod, max 5
solo pvp in a domi with 5 of them
combat wave
6 combat(dmg of 3 using 5 mods)
2 EC-x00 (jammer), maybe 2 SD-x00 (damps, assuming they unnerf damps sometime in the near future), or 1/1 damp and jammers
1 SW-x00 (webber)
1 TP-x00 (painter)
the webber and painter make up for the tracking change on mediums/heavys to some extent
the jammers keep the target from getting a solid lock
add whatever you want to the mids of the domi ewar wise and a couple warp disruptors
anything without stabs or lrg smartbombs gets slowly pecked to death

i think 5% is enougth...
the five drone mods without any penalty would be 1200...
and with 5 modules with 5% penalty it would be 900...
10% is a joke... dont think anyone would sacrefise all his highs to get the same damage...
5% is the best solution...
