I go to the market I buy some ammo at the lowest price I select the station with the highest price I jump there and try to sell my ammo and they give me LESS money then the station I bought them from? when they're selling the same ammo at a much higher price?

You should only look at the sell price when you buy stuff, if you want to sell it, you have to look at the buy-orders at the bottom of the market for the buy-price.

all the buy orders are for less then the sell orders? I don't see how you turn a profit?

Have you checked the going prices in all regions? If you have, and there's still no profit to be made, then you're shipping the wrong thing

As mentioned before, look at the buy orders on the bottom half of the market screen and sort by price. Then look at the sell orders to find a sell price lower the the highest buy price. Keep in mind the quantity of the buy order so you don't buy too much and it's always wise to check out the sector rateing of the highest buy order as they can be in low rated sectors and are just there to lure you to your death.
Good luck.

exactly like that - put buy orders for less than sell orders...
with exception of NPC comodities there is not much stuff on the market that you can directly buy for low and sell for high price...
Course once you've seen one Yeti you've seen them all. |

if you can find a production corp and get in with them you might stand a better chance and/or offer them the mins to build with and pay them a little % of the profit you are going to make then you might stand a better chance i do this for 1 or 3 traders that i do business with but they give me a little extra mins instead of isk
