Hey everyone. I want to create a combat character (Caldari/Civire) - how do these starting attributes sound?
12 Perception
10 Willpower
7 Intelligence
4 Memory
6 Charisma
I know Memory is low, but after the Learning skills are done it's rarely a primary skill. After Engineering and Electronics, I'll be focusing on Gunnery, Spaceship Command, and maybe Missiles. Even Drones don't have many skills at the moment.
Comments or suggestions?

Looks pretty good. A little low on the intelligence for my tastes, but you'll really enjoy how fast your command and gunnery skills train.

In my honest opinion, your memory is way too low.
When you come to train science, learning or electronics skills you'll be feeling the pinch - my advice would have been to go as low as possible on charisma, have higher memory.
For my charater at the moment its something like
16 Perception
12 Intelligence
11 Memory
8 Willpower
4 charisma.
^^I've trained up a few learning skills first to beef up th talley a little and I intend to continue after have gone some critical skill learning!

My calculations show 10W/4M and 6W/8M to be somewhat similar, with the higher mem one winning out within a year or more though. It depends how many years down the road you are looking. I don't think there is anything wrong with your attribute set, and 4 memory isn't "crippled" like some would tell you. Your choice.

How did you get 4 Charisma as Caldari? I tried and tried, but couldn't do any better than 6.

Hmm. As far as I could tell, I would only need Memory for Engineering, Electronics, and Drones. There aren't too many skills there compared to Gunnery, Spaceship Command, and Missiles, which is what I'll really be focusing on. So I took that extra point that could've gone to Memory or Intel and gave it to Perception.
I'm planning on using a +3 memory implant while I get the Advanced Learning skills to 4. After that, I plan on losing the implant one way or another. 
I have Cybernetics 1 nearing completion, so if anyone still thinks this is a bad idea, please comment.

it's a mimatar alt. I started on th is charater, but have long since ditched it for the reasons you mentioned.

I¦d lower will by two and put them in int for those nasty engineering and electronics skills but that¦s just me. |
