Hi,
Has there been any word or discussion on shield implants (mainly crystals) effecting Capital Shield Boosters? someone could link me too, or tell me the main reasons why they don't effect capital shield boosters?

The general consensus seems to be that they're not really needed because the issue with active tanking on shield capitals goes far beyond boost amount and has a lot more to do with capacitor sustainability.
As for "Shield Slaves", they superfluous as well, as shield tanking super capitals currently have comparable ehp to their slaved armor counterparts. The Chimera presents a slight issue here in comparison to the Archon, but when it overheats it's tank it can reach theoretically higher levels.

triage chimera is functionally the same for shield fleets as an archon for armour fleets. it just needs a bit of bling due to poor fitting. |
